Purchased brand new in 2012 and I have put 5 new batteries in this car, . The adverage life span is 10 months. I just had the car serviced at 60k and within 1 week the battery was dead ( the dealer admitted did not test the battery at that service) put new battery in dead in 2 months. Dealer has not offered any solution for this problem for the past 3 years. Others owners have complained about the same issue and model and no solution is ever offered. Something is draining it. This is a safety issue. You just do not know when it will die. Always parked when the battery dies, I get it jumped and it starts. All the electrical comes on but the car will not turn over. I drive the car daily for long distances so the altenator will charge.

The battery was dead on two occasions within 2 weeks. The first time it was parked in my garage and it was morning. The second time it was parked at work. I drove the car to purchase gas at lunch time and when I tried to start it to go home at 4 pm the car would not start. Aaa came and boosted the battery and tightened the connections the first time. The second time aaa just tightened the connections on the battery and the car started. I just purchased this car so I don't know what problems the previous owner had. Why would the connections be loose. I have never had this problem before and this is my sixth vehicle.
Just pulled out from a stop at an intersection, vehicle made a "clunk" sound and the engine and all electrical quit. Coasted to a stop and did a walk around the vehicle. When reentering the vehicle and closing the drivers door all electrical came back on and vehicle was able to be started. Took it to dealer next day, and they found two inactive codes. P181d engine system u1405 engine torque signal they kept the car for the weekend and had shop lead mechanic take the car home over the weekend and drive it. Released the car to us on Monday afternoon after one last test drive and code check. We were not really happy about the results of them finding nothing wrong with the vehicle as this is a situation with the vehicle just shutting down in traffic could be unsafe to say the least. The only question we were asked after the weekend was if the battery had ever died. Seeing as we have only owned the vehicle a few months and there is only 2800 miles on the car. It was in possession of Nissan and their dealership network longer than we had it and it may of had a battery problem at that time. .

The battery dies a lot! cannot figure out why, I have been left stranded numerous times, not fun, sometimes I only left my car for half hour or so, I come back and it is dead, have to wait for aaa or a friend, this has been going for several years and just happened again tonight.
In August of 2013 I purchased a 2011 Nissan Juke. 2 months later the battery died. I replaced it. Between that time and March 2015 I had to replace the battery 2 addition times. In March of 2015 again the battery dies. I jumped started it a couple of times in a period of 3 days. On the 4th day while driving the car acted as if it would stall on me while driving. This scared me enough to take it into the dealership. They ran diagnostic test on the car and found nothing. They replaced the battery (corporate reimbursed me for the cost) now in Feb 2016 the new battery they installed died again. I did as they advised me to do the previous time which is to have it towed into the dealership instead of jump starting it and driving it to them. Again they ran diagnostic test and found nothing. They have again replaced the battery. The dealership acts as if the problem is fixed. My concern is that a few months from now the car will again drain the battery. What about if it drops a charge while I am driving it on the road? I have read several complaints on line regarding the same issue with other 2011 Juke models but I do not see it mentioned on the national highway safety administration website.
