1 Other Fuel System problem of the 2011 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 05/08/2025

My 2011 Nissan Juke has approximately 118,000 miles and I've ran out of gas several times even when it said there was 88 miles left in the tank and the traction control light won't go off it stays on constantly along with the check engine light and tire pressure warning light and its making a squealing noise and its losing power I've only had it a year I know they have been recalled for certain reasons but I'm not sure if this car has been fixed or not I can't afford to get it fixed due to health and medical bills including hospital bills from when my wife passed away I'm finding several issues people have had with the Jukes why isnt Nissan extending the recalls because for people who buy them from private people dont know if the car has been recalled or fixed its very unsafe I've lost power while driving at 45 miles an hour because it ran out of gas even when it displayed 88 miles left my car needs fixed and its expensive I had to replace the ball joint and was told it was going to be almost 700$ or it wouldn't pass inspection this car has turned into a money pit I can't even resell it I need help getting it fixed please.

2 Other Fuel System problem of the 2013 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 05/07/2024

Smelling and leaking gas. Smell in stronger when driving the vehicle. Took it to a car shop and they stated that the fuel pressure sensor was leaking. There was a recall at one time for this and I have called the Nissan customer service and filled a claim. The Nissan makers states that they could not fix the problem due to the recall had already been fixed in 2018. Even though it has been 6 years, I think they should be liable to fix this issue. There is either something wrong with the sensors or it was not tight enough to start with.

3 Other Fuel System problem of the 2013 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 04/14/2024

I am asking about the fuel system recall 12v069000 calling to tighten the fuel pressure sensor. Why has the turbo part number been rescinded a few times. Along with the TSB # ntb16-035a calling for the oil line to be replaced whenever turbocharger mx is performed. Since the recall was performed before the TSB and it required the oil one to be removed, could this have caused the faulty turbocharger. I have had one turbo charger replaced in 2019 - 5 years ago and my turbo charger went out again yesterday - 4/14/2024 at 150,000 miles. It threw a code p2263. Clearly this is a defect and beyond costing a lot of money, a safety issue.

4 Other Fuel System problem of the 2015 Nissan Juke

Breakes not wanting to stop, the petal gets stuck as well and when you fill it up gas fumes come in the vechile that caused me headaches and nauseous. 10 Other Fuel System problem of the 2013 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 06/25/2020

My car after 80,000 miles started to have severe engine and driving issues. I was in a construction zone on a highway with the speed limit of 75mph and my transmission started to act up. I was low on gas so I filled it up and when I start back on the highway it would gain no speed and the rmp's would shoot up to 6. I road on this road for about 15-20 minutes at 35-50 miles per hour until I could find and exit and a side road to get me to a safe stopping point. I had to shut my car off two time during the duration and both times there wasn't a shoulder so I was in the grass. It was incredibly unsafe, and I found out two of my best friends had this same exact thing happen with their car. Since they have quit making this car and I have found most of the models made have recalls, I find it irresponsible to not inform everyone that has purchased this car of potential issues. I am a 23 years old women and it is remarkably unsafe to think I have a reliable care that out of no where breaks down, after I have done my due diligence to keep it in the best shape.

11 Other Fuel System problem of the 2012 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 09/27/2019

12 Other Fuel System problem of the 2015 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 09/09/2019

While driving on the interstate, the car slows down and will not accelerate. If I press the gas to get out of the way of on coming traffic the car skips and does not go over 40 mph. I try to get to the far lane in hope's of not being hit. I turn the car off and try to start it again and the engine light comes on, try again to start it and it slowly moves until it gains speed and I keep my hazards on, engine light goes off and it has been doing this periodically ever since.

13 Other Fuel System problem of the 2013 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 06/09/2019

While driving at 80 mph on the highway, I was unable to maintain speed. I suddenly lost abilities to control my speed. I proceeded to pull over and shut the car off. Restarted minutes later with no warning lights present. This happened several times getting the car to a rest stop. I believe it's the torque converter in the transmission that maybe the issue.

16 Other Fuel System problem of the 2012 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 01/11/2019

My vehicle was not listed under Nissan recall id 277139 & id227697 and should be due to I have obd code of p0087 & p0090 which is a fire hazard fuel leak low pressure rail rack and I am not the only owner of Jukes that are have the same issue with VIN not covered when they should be. What is going to take a loss of lives.

17 Other Fuel System problem of the 2011 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 11/16/2018

Fuel pressue sensor failed after torqued down recall was completed by dealer. Bought my 2011 Juke new from dealer. Car has been paid off since 2016. I never received any recall information regarding the fuel pressure sensor until 2018. I was not experiencing any problems with the vehicle. Apon recieving the recall notice in may 2018, I took my vehicle in to the Nissan dealership to address recall. I picked up my Juke and brought it home. Since I have another vehicle, this one was not my daily driver. I went out once every few days to crank it up. I did notice that there was a fuel smell when I cranked the car. Thought maybe since they torqued the fuel pressure sensor for the recall, maybe somehow fuel had gotten in the engine compartment and would simply burn off. This continued every time I started the car. I decided to take it back to the dealer. Had to tow vehicle 30+ miles because of possible fire or explosion from any ignition source that could occur. I was concerned when the fuel smell did not go away. Service manager called and said it was the fuel pressure sender and that it would need to be replaced. I ask for part number which came back to fuel pressure sensor. He advised me that I would have to pay over $750 dollars for parts and labor. So I authorized him to order the part because they dont keep recall parts on hand. I needed to contact Nissan. My question is if there is or has been 3 separate recalls for this part and my vehicle was fine before the 2018 recall repair. Why is the dealer requiring me to pay for the repair? it is my understanding that recalls dont have an expiration date. If a part fails that is a known recalled part throughout Nissan vehicles, then why isn't it being replaced for free due to the hazardous nature of not replacing it.

18 Other Fuel System problem of the 2014 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 10/23/2018

I have noticed a strong fuel odor when I first start the car for the past few weeks. Evidently it is a leaking fuel pressure sensor. It appears there is already a recall on this problem (under NHTSA campaign id:14v683000), but my specific VIN is not included. I have just over 60k miles.

19 Other Fuel System problem of the 2012 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 07/03/2018

The fuel pressure sensor on my Juke has gone bad and I am being told that my car is not part of any recall. Soooo many other Jukes have been on the recall and they won't fix my problem. They won't is diagnos the problem unless I pay them $140 to scan my Juke. My gas mileage sucks and I smell gas in the cab ocassionally. I contacted Nissan directly and got a email back telling me my car is not in the recall and I would need to take it to Nissan to diagnose what I already know is the problem. I'm really surprised Nissan isn't more concerned with this. I remember firestorm and Ford and a lot of lawsuits and deaths.

21 Other Fuel System problem of the 2012 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 06/29/2018

Vehicle has been idling a little weird for a few weeks and yesterday my Juke hesitated a little before starting. After this the check engine light turned on and I got 2 codes because of it p0090 and p0087. I did some research and discovered that these codes come up from a faulty fuel pressure sensor which has been recalled a few different times. When I inquired from the Nissan dealership they told me my car had no recalls and I would need to pay almost $140 from them just to tell me what might need to be fixed. I can smell gas while the car is idling in my garage and my car has troubles shifting and starting. Juke is a 2012 with about 56k miles on it.

Failure Date: 12/23/2017

The car has been leaking fuel and had a strong fuel odor for a couple of weeks. I git it towed to a Nissan dealer and they are telling me it needs a fuel pressure sensor and the fuel bolt won't tighten. They have already had a recall on this particular problem but they're saying my VIN number is not included in the recall and I don't think I should have to pay for it the car is only 4 years old and it only has 69000 miles on it.

33 Other Fuel System problem of the 2012 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 11/29/2017

I had a gas/exhaust smell coming into my cabin of vehicle and from my the outside of my vehicle. I took to my mechanic, where he confirmed that there was a gas leak and that Nissan had recalls on my type of vehicle for this reason. Told me to take to Nissan dealer for recall repairs. There were two recall id#: r1201 and r1418. The dealership said my VIN# didn't have a recall, despite the confirmation from my mechanic that there was a leak. I called national consumer affairs dept Nissan north America, talked with akash #7319300, case # 29075850, where I was told nothing is wrong with my vehicle and that I should have it fixed at my cost. It didn't have a recall, even after explaining everything. This is a safety issue and there are recalls for this, but they will not look or fix my vehicle under the recall. If my type of vehicle has not 1 but 2 recalls on it for this issue, how is it possible that my vehicle is not one of them? the recall states on the attached documents, "if you notice a fuel smell in the cabin of your vehicle, please bring your vehicle into a Nissan dealer for repairs as soon as possible. " I did this and they wouldn't fix it.
