Nissan Juke owners have reported 1 problem related to speed control springs (under the vehicle speed control category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Nissan Juke based on all problems reported for the Juke.
When attempting to pass another vehicle at highway speeds (55-65 mph), the car continues to accelerate very quickly and at a high rate of speed on its own. Pressed down brake pedal and car slowed down. Took foot off brake pedal and car continued to very quickly accelerate on its own (no foot on accelerator). While depressing the brake pedal, I heard a sound, kind of like a popping of a spring sound, then the car resumed normal functioning. The first time this happened, the cruise control was set, and I thought this to be the problem. However, this occurred again yesterday, and the cruise control was not set.
