All of my safety light came on dash. Abs, front end collision, back up, skid, lane assist as well as abs. Took car in paid 6,000 for the lane assist as well as abs car worked for only one month before it would not back up nor would it accelerate after it finally got to drive. All lights came back on and now it’s another 2100 for throttle body and maf and sonar control unit. Car is very unstable and un-drivable.

The vehicles electrical system will go out mid drive. Front collision and rear collision sensor will turn off. Also the traction control will turn off with the other sensors going out. Plus the transmission while it’s sensors are going out will make it unable to pull out either forward or reverse.
Issues with maf sensor. All the lights on dashboard illuminated while the car was difficult to accelerate down the driveway. Reader at auto parts centers showed fault with the mass airflow sensor. Sensor and battery have been replaced 3x since getting the vehicle in 2019. Lights on dashboard and reader code shows fault with the maf sensor again! car lags when accelerating and doesn’t feel like it has full power. Car has had issues not turning on in parking lot. All dash lights turn on immediately after driving vehicle. Message “malfunction see owner’s manual”.
I bought the car used and had no issues within the first three months. I have only had the car for four months now. The automatic emergency braking warning light started to randomly flash while driving and would come on and off. I took the car into the dealership and they told me I had codes appearing that led them to look at my battery first. They said my battery was bad and replaced that. I’ve had the car for about a week now and now when I drive it the car randomly activates the aeb so when I’m driving it will just apply the breaks with no warning and when there is no reason to. This causes me to become startled and jolt while driving and when I’m going at higher speeds it is extremely dangerous to the drivers around me who don’t understand what’s going on. I have no warning when it’s going to happen and it could lead to an accident. I have read countless other stories online of people with Nissan Kicks who are experiencing the same issue.

My 2018 Nissan Kicks stalled several times, twice while at a stop light and once while driving. There was no warning or any indicators letting me know that the vehicle stalled. The two times at the light I was only able to notice because I couldn’t get the car to go while pressing the gas. The time I was driving the car suddenly stalled and slowed down and the steering wheel became stiff. I had to place it in neutral and pull over. I took my car to the manufacturer where I bought the car and explained it to them. It stalled in them as well but they couldn’t find a reason for it and told me that it could be my key fob cover and the battery. We changed the battery on 08/07/24 and it just stalled again today at a stop light on 08/08/24. This rules out the key and fob and cover so it must be the something with the transmission or engine. Either way, it becomes unsafe especially while it stalls while driving.
It all started when the electrical system just shut down. Then I had issues with the door locks not working and that electrical system not working. Then the car just stopping - shut off while driving. That was the worst. It just shut off and I could not get it to start again until I let it sit for a few minutes. Spent thousands of dollars on what the Nissan dealers said was wrong, but the issues just kept happening. Now all the lights on the dashboard are lit up, abs, sensor, tracking, warning. I am attaching a picture for review. After spending so much money on this, I did some research and it seems that this is a continuing issue for Nissan Kicks 2019. Please help, I am tired of spending so much money and not fixing the issue.
Limp mode defect occured while on highway in the middle of the country of USA.
The fuel gage or dte(distance to empty) started to malfunction after the last time the tank was filled up. It did not correct itself and now I can't get an appointment with the service department to have it look at.

My car shut off while I was driving it with no warning and almost caused an accident. I have already had spark plugs and battery replaced as well as routine maintenance and it has shut off on me 3 times already.
Symptoms: *automatic emergency braking (3 occasions) *slip indicator (3 occasions) *check engine -code p0101 (been on 4 weeks so far) road condition: sunny days aeb and slip indicator lights randomly came on 3 different times. On the 3rd time, check engine light came on together and it's been on ever since. Aeb and slip lights go away after the car is turned off. Having aeb and slip lights on makes the car drive like it is on the lower gear and the engine shut off at every red light. I started noticing the smell of excess gasoline fume especially when the car is moving but not accelerating, meaning that when my foot is off the gas pedal. Because p0101 indicates maf sensor malfunction, I replaced with a hitachi-made maf sensor. For some strange reason, the car lost battery power so I ended up replacing battery at the same time. Unfortunately, the check engine light is still on.
Car started/idled rough but stopped after acceleration. Mile into drive, yellow ck engine light flashing. Drove home and took it to auto store for free diagnostic. Misfire cylinder 1. Took to nussan dealer where purchased (certified used) to have them check it out. Light is now off, but code is stored. They moved plugs around and sent ne on my way to see if it happened again. Later that day, same thing only worse abd ck engine solid. Had it towed back. Told it was wiring harness. 6000 repair( Nissan covering some). Big expense for a car with only 51,000 miles, and not covered by warrenty.

Car malfunctions while driving car stalls at 0 car cuts off air bags stuck on car was one of the ones that did not get fixed I recently just purchased this vechicle and it was used by a fleet company so it never got serviced when it had recalls.
I purchased a Nissan Kicks 2020 7 weeks ago. Yesterday while at a stop light, the engine shut off and then the battery and oil light popped on. This was extremely dangerous as I was on a busy highway and had to panic on what to do. I ended up having to put it in park and cut it back on. After researching this online, I have found other people are having the exact same issue. I checked for a recall and see none! how has there not been a recall? I had my three children in the car with me (one being a newborn) and was scared to death!.
When I am driving my car the collision brake come on and my car will reduce speed and the not accurate. The car would still be started but will not move upon me pushing the acceleration. When I start my car and I’m reversing it will not move upon me accelerating, when I put the car in drive it will jerk and take off really fast. At a red light after coming to a complete stop my car will not accelerate after me pushing the gas, leaving me stuck in traffic in the middle of the street. This is completely unsafe to myself as well as my baby. I am scared to drive my car. I have taken my car in numerous times to the Nissan dealership and it still does the same thing, costing me money.
The vehicle constantly shuts off when idle or at times when in motion. The automatic emergency braking (aeb) system warning light turns on as well as the slip indicator. When it finally turns back on after placing it in park and stepping on the brake, the engine barely accelerates. The rpms drop and then surges to compensate about every 30 seconds. The vehicle has been taken to the dealer on several occasions and Nissan has yet to figure out what the issue is.
During times of weather rain or ice, the aeb system malfunctions. First the slip indicator light comes on. Then a message says that there is a malfunction and to see manual. Next the aeb light will come on. Once both lights are on, the car shudders. Steering is difficult at this point. Next the battery light and oil lights will turn on then the car shuts off while driving. You can no longer hear the engine and acts as if the car was not started. When this occurs I often have to find safety or attempt to “jump start” by shutting the car off completely then turning it back on. The incident repeats itself but will go away after weather is clear. This is a major safety risk specifically while driving and the car shudders then cuts off completely while in drive.
Abs, ccs cruise control, air pressure monitor, laser/radar, intelligence key, radar stain, center sonar, radar circuit unit, airbag lights poa90 recall engine control module, transmission, collison lights, pre-existing damages, it has defects it started intermittent stalling at 66,541 miles upon buying it at 59,290 miles. All the dashboard lights on. It's a hazards it's to risky it won't start sometimes it leaves us on the side of the road. Sometimes we have to tow it. 4.
Recently had brake sytem replaced and it was done incorrectly. Almost had a wreck and issue has drained my battery and cauing issues to alternator too. Constantly having issues with heat and now my ac. Have to constantly pay diagnostic charges. Request drive belt be replaced.
March 2023 master warning light symbol on dashboard and rear automatic braking (rab) warning light symbol on dashboard. Warning malfunction see owner's manual and warning parking sensor error see owner's manual. June 2023 warning no key detected, check rear seat for all articles and parking sensor off. Vdc settings menu illuminated light dims while accelerating and returns to normal. Vehicle is available for inspection. Rear sensors are not working to warn of obstructions as designed. Two service dealerships have serviced vehicle. No repairs, only diagnostic testing at one location. Dtc c1b56-04 (sonar circuit), dtc b2720-66 (rear sonar sensor). No other inspections have been performed. March, prior to warnings while vehicle was in reverse, another vehicle turned from around a corner. My vehicle automatically made a hard stop to avoid contact with vehicle. Warning messages appeared afterward within same month. I asked service advisor and service manager at separate locations if hard stop could have caused warning malfunction messages but received no response.
The contact owns a 2019 Nissan Kicks. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, there were three unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
The components that failed in multiple instances include the engine shutting off in traffic at a stop light, the failure to accelerate as if the engine is stuck, and the forward collision warning indicator repeatedly coming on while driving with no one is front of me. An accident almost occurred while sitting at the traffic light when the car shut off and while trying to get on the highway and being unable to pick up speed puts our safety at risk. Additionally, the potential for an accident to occur while driving if the engine shuts off or forward collision sensor triggers the automatic emergency braking system. The problems have been reported to the service center and the vehicle is scheduled for inspection and a diagnostic 02/20/23. There were no warning signs in the engine failure incident at the traffic light. The forward collision warning light comes on sporadically. The engine acceleration issue happens at unknown times while pulling off from lights to getting on the interstate ramps.
Front crash sensor comes on occassionally, drive train is now knocking, and radio now has a mind of its own won't display will just randomly increase volume.
Problem is with the cars computer. It is sending out codes and has caused my car to stall while driving it. Also has sent out false sensor warnings because of that.
When driving 50mph - 70 mph the forward collision warning will engage and the emergency brakes will engage. The car will come to a stop. This has happened while on the highway and crashes were barely avoided. It has injured my back with the sudden stop. Today 12/8 it happened again and both the forward collision warning and rear collision warning engaged, the car stopped from going 68 mph on the highway, and the car disabled my traction control.
Was driving on the interstate when all of the sudden any time I would hit the accelerator it would start to brake. I went from going 60 to 45 and realized I had to pull over and was able luckily to get to a median to call aaa. Once I got to the median my battery and oil change light appeared and ac stopped working. I attempted to turn my car off and it would just automatically restart. I did that three times and on the third time the lights turned off and ac was back blowing cold but still couldn’t move my vehicle. Aaa then towed it to their facility and said it was transmission issues and he had never seen something like it before since no sensors were notified to the issue. It’s now being towed from the aaa center and is being taken to the dealership closest for repairs. I’m still waiting to hear back from maus Nissan about my car and where to go from here. It’s very troubling to be traveling at such a fast speed to nothing at all and luckily I was able to pull over to safety.

Light in panel appear said warning malfunction automatic emergency breaking light is on all the time and the car go to the dealers they fixed and when used the car this appear again in the panel.
Intermittent electrical failure that is related to the sensor systems in the vehicle. While driving the car will display sensory (ie. Front collision) and traction control lights on the dash, and then the vehicle will shut off while driving. This has happened over the course of years and happens sporadically. This is very dangerous not only for myself as the driver, but also others on the road. This issue has been reported multiple times with no resolve. After researching, it has been noted that others have experienced failures with the same make and model as well as similar vehicles in Nissan’s fleet.
I bought the Nissan Kicks in April 2019, with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. At 34,710 miles the abs system comes on. I took the car to the technician authorized by the manufacturer. He detects a code, c1110-04, and recommends that I replace the abs controller and actuator. That's over a $4,000 repair for a car that only has 34,710 miles on it. I think the problem is a safety issue since the abs works with the car's brakes. The technician told me that if it is not fixed, the brake system may not be working properly. Since I bought the car, there has been no sign of the problem. The first time I saw the problem was on sept 29, 2022.
Vehicle is new, the collision sensors come on for no reason, 3 times a month, sensors come on car stalls and turns off, once restarted sensor warning is gone, then your able to drive, keeps happening.
My crash sensor started to go off on the freeway 2 years ago about . I took it to the dealership they replaced the sensor then it happened again about a year later . I'm having the same issue again it goes off and there's no cars around me it will go off when I'm parked it wont let me go in reverse. I have to turn my car off and wait about 10-15 min and turn it back on. My other problem is my driver side door wont lock or unlock it the key fob and by the power button on the door. I have to manually lock and unlock the door this has been going on for about 2 months . I havent taken it to the dealer ship yet for the door issue yet.
Car often sputters then shows front collision warning light then stalls. Mass airflow sensor has been changed and problem persists. Radio volume changes on its own. Software is up-to-date.
This car has been shutting down without warning, everything goes haywire and shuts off. When or if it start back up, the gauges aren't working. Several times I have had to jump start the vehicle. I was almost hit by an 18-wheeler, and I cringe at the fact my dad or son could have been driving or I could had my nieces or grandchildren in the car with me. My dad purchased this car last year and it still doesn't have 45,000 miles on it. I tried to get it into a Nissan services center, and I have to wait until the end of next week to have it checked out. This vehicle is a death trap.
