Two problems related to brake foundation components have been reported for the 1997 Nissan Maxima. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at any speed and applying the brakes, brakes are grinding and squeaking. Vehicle has been in the repair shop four times, and dealer can't determine the problem.
When appyling the brakes on dry pavement the pedal traveled to the floor, causing extended stopping distance. Please give any further details.
