1 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 07/29/2017

Bought car one year ago at 120000 miles. After 2 mos, car started jumping while pressing acceleration and then began to just stop while I was driving. Engine light came on , had camshaft position sensors replaced. Less than 2 mos later, car was starting to stall again, accelerator still making the car stall. Had fuel system checked, was fine. Then my engine light came on again, now saying camshaft position timing needs to be replaced. Mechanic told me this is the most common problem he sees in Nissan vehicles. Should be a recall on the timing chain if the problem is so common. I ran into a ditch twice and very nearly was in an accident when my car cut off while I was turning at a busy intersection. I couldn't turn the wheel and nearly crashed! this has happened numerous times. I reported the issue directly to Nissan but since no accident was reported I did not receive any help or advice from them.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 115,000.

3 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 04/18/2015

My car stalls and shuts off unexpected when at a stop, it also will not accelerate over 40 mph in traffic. I took it to a local auto store to test the (service engine soon) light, comes back with codes relating to the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors.

5 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 08/14/2014

My car will start off riding great but then the jerking starts and the acceleration stalls. I am so afraid that I may get in an accident as a result of the constant jerking. Sometimes my engine revs up and my car jerks as if the whole car will just fall apart. I pray everytime I get behind the wheel. I don't have $3,000 to get it repaired and I should not have to pay for it when there is a class action suit against Nissan for this issue. I am hoping that a recall is done so that I won't have to pay. I believe its a major safety issue because I can get in an accident or injure someone. It pisses me off that Nissan won't take responsibilithy.

6 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 08/03/2014

While driving on the interstate, I had cruse control set at 80mph. There was a stalling/jerking motion that took place. After looking over the instrument panal. I notice it was still on cruse control but the mph had dropped a few miles. Once cruse controll was disengaged, I noticed the difference in acceleration. It felt like my car was stuck in third or forth gear. I had to hold pedal to the floor and wait as it picked up speed.
