Front Seat Belt Retractor Problems of Nissan Maxima

The passenger seatbelt on my 2006 Nissan Maxima always locks up on my wife just driving down the road. She is 5'4 210lbs, it doesn't happen when she drives. I asked a few of my friends and two of them said it happens to their wives also in the passenger seat, one is heavy also but another isn't heavy at all. Non of my male friends that sit in the passenger seat have it happen. Easter on the way home she got mad and took the belt off two miles from home. That's not good. How many other cars have this problem with females in the passenger seat?.
