general problems of the 2005 Nissan Murano

The Cadillac converters are junk and you guys oughta be ashamed of yourself for not recall and I'm on all the ones that they've all had problems with because there's been several and it's not a cheap fix just had one fix now the other 2 went out and I haven't even had the vehicle 30 days.

Last week was almost in an accident when my car completely turned off while waiting at a light at night. I was almost hit several times. Last year I had the alternator replaced. This time I had the cam shift sensors replaced. Guess what? it happened all over again in one week. People are going to die. My vehicle lost its ability to even have its hazard buttons on. My vehicle is under no recall. How can this company get away with this? can they at least tell us what is wrong, so that we can fix it?.

Vehicle shut-off without warning while driving on the roads and freeway. Had to immediately put neutral restart engine several times. Took it to the dealership in bellevue ne and they only replaced the duct vent tube from the air filter. My vehicle caught fire as I proceeded to pull away from a curbside parking space. If I had known this I would have never bought the car. This is completely unjust.

Our car is starting the surging thing and acts like it is going to turn off then zooms off. I never realized the cvt cause so many people issues. The cowards at Nissan not stepping forward are going to realize real quick they should have been loyal to their customers! I along with a lot of other folks will not be going back to Nissan!.

Began having issues with the locks to the point the rear hatch locks and won't unlock, not all doors lock or unlock anymore. Took to our mechanic and when he replaced the switch it still didn't work. He did some research and said this is an issue from Nissan directly with the actuators.

Nissan Murano 2005 - loose motor support.

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Murano. Since April of 2009, the vehicle has been losing power while driving 55 mph. The speed has decreased to 5 mph on three occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer three times, but they could not diagnose the failure with the computer system/engine. The contact is concerned that a crash could occur. The vehicle required a new engine when it was slightly more than a year old, it has had many other things wrong with it, however this is the most serious and possibly deadly.
