Owners/service Manual problems of the 2005 Nissan Murano

Door actuators failed. Door locks fail to lock and un-lock. Occurred at various times, using any means available to lock and un-lock the doors: the key fob, interior driver side and passenger side locks button on door, and manual manipulation of the interior door lock(s). The issue is experienced with all 4 door locks and rear hatch. Have been unable to get in or lock the vehicle except manual use of key. Unfortunately the rear hatch does not have a manual system and therefore can't be locked or opened. Safety issue!.

Passenger door, passenger-side rear door, driver-side rear door and trunk door will not unlock while pressing the key fob twice. Manually unlocking the doors by using the keyhole on the outside of the driver door does not solve the above problem. Manually unlocking the doors by using the driver / passenger side unlock button on the armrest does not solve the above problem. Trunk door cannot be opened with any of the above means due to absence of manual lock/unlock lever on the exterior of the door.

The front passenger lock would not open using the key fob or the interior lock buttons. The rear hatch will not open unless the front passenger door is unlock. Recently ( spring of 2013, 129k miles), the driver and rear passenger side locks would not operate unless manually unlocked, at first intermittently and ultimately stopped working completely.

Door locks starting with drivers side passenger and now the driver door will not lock or unlock unless manually changed with lever or key. This is a huge safety issue and should be addressed passenger doors are random however are starting to show similar signs thanks in advance.
