This problem has been going on since 2013. Power steering leakage. 3 mechanics checked car couldn't find leak. I ended up carrying fluid with me cause I never knew when it would go out. The 4th mechanic changed the power steering pressure switch that wasn't the problem. He has now found that the care leaks when not in motion. A power steering rack has been ordered.
The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that the driver's seat frame detached and leaned towards the driver side door. The contact placed a stack of bricks to keep the seat steady. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. In addition, the power steering line detached and leaked fluid. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the power steering line needed to be replaced. The technician clamped the power steering line; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 65,000.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer who inspected the vehicle and informed him that they had to replace the steering hose. The steering hose had to be ordered and it would cost $700 to repair.
