As I was driving in traffic (approximately 35 mph), I applied the brakes at the stoplight and there was a sudden loud sound coming from the engine. When I applied the gas, there was no power, but the engine continued to rev up. With cars flying by me, this was terrifying for me and my granddaughters. I took it to the dealership and they misdiagnosed the problem, twice. Over the next few weeks, my Murano began to randomly skip/hesitate with standard rpm and extremely high rpm. The local Nissan dealership had my car for over a month, saying they had replaced the transmission. The only problem is the "problem " is there, still there. Also there is no guarantee/warranty on warranted work. I now have nothing. And scared to drive my car that it will fail in traffic.
This vehicle is only four years old with only 84000 miles, while driving I heard a loud sound coming from under the vehicle. Now we all know owners of this very cute vehicle that it has a factory defect and we need more people like myself to come forth so the would have no choice but to recall these vehicles.
