Tl the contact owns a 2010 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator flashed and remained illuminated on the instrument panel. Also, the front passenger seat air bag warning indicator remained illuminated while the seat was occupied. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the air bag sensor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and provided case number: 36524907. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The failure mileage was 96,000.
Front passenger airbag light is blinking for airbag not on.
The driver side airbag light has been on since I purchased this used vehicle from park place lexis. I was told to take it to a Nissan dealer. I am concerned this is a defect that should be replaced by Nissan under a recall and defective airbag. The airbag light is always on.
Passenger side airbag light is continuously blinking.
