Smelling exhaust fumes in my pickup cab. I had a new exhaust system installed and check by a mechanic. It was ok. He said I have a cracked exhaust manifold. I checked on the www and a lot of people are talking about this same problem. My truck is a Nissan frontier year 2002.

Exhaust manifold crack on right of the engine. Loud clicking noises due to hole in exhaust manifold/headers. I spoke with a midas employee and he said that its a common problem for 1999 Nissan frontier se's. Not only is it an emission problem but could very well harm the engine.
