The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Nv200. While driving, the engine shut off and the power steering seized. The contact was able to steer the vehicle to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who replaced the fuse to the fuel pump. The vehicle was repaired, but the contact was concerned that the failure would recur due to the number of recalls he found. The contact called kings Nissan (2758 coney island Ave, brooklyn, NY 11235, (718) 934-3300) and voiced his concerns. The manufacturer stated that there were no recalls and assigned a specialist to call the contact back in the near future. The failure mileage was 147,000.
