Transmission Noise problems of the 1998 Nissan Pathfinder

Two problems related to transmission noise have been reported for the 1998 Nissan Pathfinder. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Transmission Noise problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2001

Transmission drive causes a big clunking noise when in drive position, it happens when stopping or starting. 2 Transmission Noise problem

Failure Date: 08/22/1998

Transmission drive train faulty causing clunking noise as per service bulletin.
