The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. While the vehicle was parked, the contact noticed that the driver's side door handle was fractured. The contact had to roll down the driver side window to open the door from the outside. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that a plastic ring inside the door fractured and needed to be replaced. The repairs were not completed. The contact also mentioned that there was a flipping noise under the vehicle. The dealer was unable to diagnose or repair the vehicle. The vehicle was serviced per NHTSA campaign number: 14v142000 (power train), but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 60,000.
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. While driving 60 mph, the vehicle lost power and stalled. The check engine indicator illuminated and the vehicle was coasted to the side of the road. The gear shifter failed to move out of park and the steering wheel seized. The contact waited five minutes and was able to resume driving. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the brakes and battery failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. The dealer stated that the transmission failed and needed to be replaced. In addition, the rear door failed to open. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 43,000.
