Alternator/generator/regulator problems of the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle suddenly would not accelerate while in the drive position. The contact indicated the vehicle operated as normal while in reverse. After recharging the battery the operated as normal for approximately for several minutes before the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer keating Nissan(333 interstate 45 south, conroe TX) who diagnosed that the alternator was faulty. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure(case# 37487331). The failure mileage was 120,000. Jft.
