If you have your light set in another position other than auto set, your break lights do not com on. I was getting ready to travel on a trip to georgia from texas. I pulled into a gas station when a lady pulled up beside me and said that your break lights are not working. Sure enough they were not working! after a while of checking the different lighting setting we found that the break lights only work in the automatic mode. This was reported to clark Nissan at abilene, texas. They reported that they have found this to be true and found all of the Nissan cars in their lot worked like this. I was advise that they were reporting this to their head office. In the mean time for me to keep the switch in auto setting. (break lights should never be disengaged).

Pressing the gas pedal from a full stop resulted in no car accleration (aside from normal car rolling forward from taking foot off of brake) and no engine 'acceleration'. Only when I pressed hard enough did the car suddenly lurch forward/accelerate. This is very risky, as I had been making a turn I would potentially be blocking the incoming lane. In addition, after parking in a parking lot, and turning off the car, I noticed that the brake lights were still lit up.

While driving and going down the highway my vehicles hud and all electronics inside the vehicle will just randomly kick out momentarily for not no more the 30seconds, but the head lights stay one and the car still runs. It kicks the cruise control off and this just started happening.

Upon purchasing the vehicle, the headlights are not bright enough. There are several threads on reddit talking about this issue. Some people say they are fine, but others are reporting that they have almost hit curbs and other items due to the lack of density. The coverage is far and wide, but the visible light in all conditions is horrible. I had a previous 2021 Nissan murano with led headlights and they blew this out of the water. Same for a 2021 Nissan rogue. The rating on the headlights is not "good" but "acceptable. " these are unsafe! in snowy weather I could not see the road. I have had to purchase aftermarket lights to supplement the headlights as trading in the vehicle is not financially feasible for us. This needs to be investigated! the dealer is saying they are aimed properly but that Nissan has cut the brightness. This is unsafe! there are a lot of dark areas in the lights. In the photo I have uploaded, my vehicle is aimed down (driveway down on the angled curb) to show the gaps in lighting, so it appears brighter than it actually is). There are a lot of dark spots, etc. Too.

I bought my 2023 Pathfinder fwd brand new in September, 2023. First few days I bought it it would switch to neutral or cut off while sitting at a light. It is now December and the ac/heater when on full blast reduces to mild on it own, the remote start no longer sets car temp based on outside time, the light in car doesn't come on when open doors, if key is in car and car is own it will lock by itself, the radio will play 5 seconds then turn off and go to a different screen, at times the screen will go from screen to screen on its on and will randomly switch to manual when I am stopped at drive through or backing out and putting in drive. Very frustrated with my purchase.

Headlamps on 2015 Nissan Pathfinder delaminating making plastic on headlamps foggy with issue getting worse by the day. Recently, I have noticed that my SUV has not had good luminating ability so I naturally assumed it was a faulty or weak bulb. I have since then changed the bulbs to led and still the same issue exists, I cannot see 3 feet in front of me at night. It is a danger to me, my occupants and others. It seems that the headlamp assembly is delaminating from the inside causing the reflective piece to become ineffective, regardless of how strong of a bulb you have. I researched this issue and seems to be prevalent in Nissans, in fact, Nissan had a recall on their Nissan altima headlamps for the same reason. That recall ended last year but did not include my vehicle. Please help me since each assembly is approximately $250-$300 each, plus installation.

The infotainment system screen is black and doesn't work. This poses a safety hazard as the navigation is inoperable; handsfree calls cannot be made while driving, which is required by law, since bluetooth is inoperable; and the back-up camera works intermittently and a person or another car could be hit while I'm backing up the vehicle. . The problem appeared quickly without warning in late January/early February 2023. I immediately took the SUV to the dealership on February 3, 2023 where it was confirmed that the infotainment system does not work and the service manager advised that it cannot be fixed.

The low beams are dangerously dim, for a car of just 4 years old with the original oem lights, the light bulbs were replaced, and the lights are still low, I have to use the high beams in order to see anything.

The contact attempted to press the brakes however it failed to stop. The vehicle rolled over a nearby hill and crashed into a tree. The airbags did not deploy. A police report was not filed. The contact received injuries to their back, neck, chest, and legs. The passenger received injuries to their neck and legs. Medical attention was needed. The vehicle was towed. Then about 2 months after, while stopped at a stop sign they attempted to accelerate but the engine began to rev up without accelerating. The vehicle began to aggressively shake and all the exterior and interior lights began to illuminate. The contact had turned off the vehicle and had the vehicle towed to the dealer mentioned above. They were unable to identify the cause of the failure. This failure had occurred again and at this time the contact had to press the emergency brakes at the same time of the brake pedal to turn off the vehicle. The vehicle was now included in NHTSA campaign number: 21v020000 (exterior lighting) however the vehicle had not been repaired under the recall as of yet. Occasionally, the navigation screen goes blank when the vehicle is put on drive and stays blank for a few minutes while the vehicle is still moving and the radio station still on and talking as normal. This happens occasionally, most recently July 5, 2019 and has occurred in 2018 several times.

I have a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. I had my transmission changed under warranty after two years and 8 months later I've started to have acceleration problems and the break lights stay on after the vehicle is turned off. Usually after a complete stop or yielding I can push the gas pedal to the floor and nothing will happen for several seconds. I actually thought the car turned off the first time it happened. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't duplicate the issue. One week later the same thing happened again. This time I called Nissan corporation and was provided a case number and told to take it back to the dealer. The dealer had the car for 4 days and once again stated they couldn't find anything. Two days after picking the car up, it did the exact same thing. Once again I called Nissan corporation and left them a message. I called the dealer and was surprised that they told me I couldn't bring the car in, because they can't duplicate the problem. I submit this is a safety concern that should force Nissan to recall all vehicles affected with no acceleration.

Electrical problem resulted in loss of rpm and brakes. Could not shut off.

Washing my car this past summer,the head lamp lense covers shattered. The lenses are still in tack . The light beams are distorted,the headlamps are not as bright. We bought a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder on September 17th, 2015 used for $27,999. 00. We put $3,000. 00 down payment on the vehicle. We were under the impression, and were told by our salesman that we didn't have to pay WI taxes and that any other taxes would be included in our loan. That proved to be false! if we would've known the IL taxes wasn't included, we wouldn't have put such a larger down payment on the vehicle. We've had this vehicle now for almost 3 months and were thinking,. . . "why make payments on something that has a lot of miles, when we could make payments on a brand new vehicle with no miles?" so we went to a different dealership to buy a new 2015 vehicle. While we are at this dealership, they inform us that when they ran the VIN #:, it came up that our Pathfinder has "structural damage" as well as "left front damage. " all of which we were unaware of. Mad city sales never showed us a car fax, although they claim they did. They did not have a buyers guide on the vehicle when we test drove it. If they would've, we would not have purchased this vehicle. When we questions mad city about the damage, they said they didn't know about it, but were sure they had told us. Then, they call back and say they found papers with our signatures/initials stating that they showed us. These papers are dated for July 21st, 2015. We bought the vehicle in September!! so I don't see how our signatures got on these forms. It looks like they somehow copy and pasted our signatures onto these forms. We feel cheated and used and misinformed about the vehicle we purchased. I've since then checked into reviews of this company, and there are plenty of other customers who have complained about the exact same issue! they falsify documents to make a sale. We would like a full refund on this vehicle as well as the money they took from us.
