The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. While driving
approximately 20-30 mph the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact was able to restart the vehicle and noticed that the fuel level gauge had failed. He then refueled the vehicle and noticed that the check engine warning light had illuminated and the fuel level gauge was fluctuating from various level reads. The dealer advised that the fuel sending unit had failed and would need to be replaced. The contact located NHTSA recall campaign id number: 10v075000 (fuel system, gasoline: storage: auxillary tank) but was advised by the manufacturer that his VIN was not included with the recall.
