One problem related to side/window air bag has been reported for the 1996 Nissan Quest. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle and hit a curb. The air bags deployed. The drivers side air bag did not inflate - instead it blew up in drivers face. The passenger side air bag deployed and caught fire.
