general problems of the 2007 Nissan Quest

The ceiling panel fell down inside the van. Thank goodness there was no one sitting in my back seats. They would have seriously been injured or even killed. The panel is very heavy.

Sometimes when I press on the brakes the steering wheel shakes. It’s inconsistent and I can’t pinpoint actually causes to avoid it happening. It’s never been serviced or has never shown a service indicator.

I just replaced all the motor mounts on my 2007 Nissan Quest. They have gone bad again. After looking up many forums online, this appears to be a very common issue and possible design flaw. Why has this not become a recall on Nissan's part? are motor mounts not a concern? everyone is stating that no matter what they use, either aftermarket or genuine Nissan parts, they all fail.

My 2007 Nissan Quest with144,500 miles, has a real bad clunking sound when accelerating, decelerating, or taking off from a standstill. A mechanic told me that it is from bad motor mounts. When accelerating or braking, the motor moves a lot. It does not make any more noises when turning, mainly win braking and accelerating, but also when the transmission shifts up or down a gear.

Takata recall. . . . Transmission is jerking uncontrollably. When it snaps into place it feels like you've been hit by another car. This has been going on for 2 months. This happens when shifting into another gear or while driving.

My a/c is running while itsince turned off I tried disconnecting the battery to reset it nothing works also when I drive the Quest at high speed and try to stop the front end of the car shakes while I'm slowing down.

While driving the transmission will slip, the rpms will rev when accelerating and the trans will jerk into gear when in lower gears, it is now having trouble accelerating all together.

Transmissions gear slips and jerks unexpectedly. You never know when it will jerk when accelerating. Will probably need to rebuild the whole transmission that will cost plenty. Also dangerous for my family to drive.

While driving down the local road, a loud vibration from the right power sliding door can be heard. . Its very loud! it also made the gas pedal shake a little bit. . 2007 Nissan Quest s 86500 miles. . Drivers side window gets stuck while going up, also doors wont open all the time.

While driving home from work, my front passenger wheel snapped off of the control arm. Because I was doing 50 miles per hour it also riped the axel out of the engine. I have been told it was due to a weak weld. Is this a manufactures defect?.

I went out to get in my van I tryed to start it up the car wouldnt turn over had to have it towed to mikes fairwood auto and he found out after looking at it the vehicle was out of gas even thoug the guage said there was gas in the vehicle he then looked the Nissan Quest up and found out they have had 37000 complaints and even deaths to the guage being wrong I was lucky enough that I wasnt driving the vehicle when it happened but I would like to file a grievance against Nissan before anybody else gets hurt or killed.

Hi we were on way from niagara to harrisburg in our Nissan Quest 2007. There was no maintainence issue in my vehicle. I had a fuel filled at corning and on the way towards harrisburg on us-15 near to lawerenceville, my vehicle was on 65mph and suddenly the engine stopped and I pulled over to the shoulder. Luckily it got completely pulled over to the shoulder. The mechanic near toiga told me that the timing chain has snapped and has caused the engine damage and it is a known problem with the Nissan vehicle. Need your help to register the complaint.

Our tire went flat. We found out a "special" dealer had to repair/replace the tire & there was no spare due to us having "run-flat" (michelin pax) tires. We got a list of the only 3 dealers around our area that are certified for these tires but when we called them they tell us these tires have been discontinued. No big deal except we find out this ru-flat tire is the only tire that can fit on this rim!! & this rim is the only rim that can fit on this van!! what!!!!!!!!!!! so I have a flat tire & now my van is immobile & irreparable!.

When driving the car engine sounded as if it was going to fall out of car found out the engine mounts were all broken and needed to be replaced. Replaced all the mounts and the car still jerks hard when driving and loses power sometimes and will rev very high when driving for no reason at all. Took car back to mechanic and was told had to replace transmission mounts after already replacing mounts for over 900 dollars.

Abs and traction control system failure. Abs actuator fails to properly engage upon starting vehicle. "abs", "tcs off", "slip" warning lights all illuminated at start of vehicle. Abs actuator makes pronounced noise (pumping but not accumulating necessary pressure) at start of vehicle.
