I bought this vehicle not knowing this vehicle had prior owner trans problem with dealer. At about a month to two month after I bought this vehicle at 68300 in the busy California traffic the vehicle stalled on me foot on the gas but trans is not moving. This is the diagnosis: doc codes p0725 engine speed * p0746 pic solienoid a * p0776 pic solenoid b * p0868 fluid pressure low * p1701 tcm. * p1722 vehicle speed signal and * p1778 step motor in transmission cvt trans burnt replacement was recommended at a cost $ 3110,81 and labor cost $ 1619,00 . Trans was done by August 14 2014 in November 2015 the same thing again too many people are having the same problem with this trans in cars an vans the dealer is doing nothing about it. Imagine 3 times same vehicle and it' under 70,000 miles.
The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Quest. The contact stated the rear liftgate lens does not have a bulb in the socket. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated the lens was cosmetic; therefore, it would not have a bulb in the socket. The failure and current mileage was 2,500.

This morning when I drove my 2005 Nissan Quest van in my garage I immediately smelled something burning. I looked to the rear of the van and saw black smoke coming from around the taillight housing. I immediately backed the van out of the garage. Suddenly flames came from the bottom of the taillight housing. By the time I could grab a fire extinguisher a hole approx. 6" in diameter had burned through and melted part of the taillight housing and the rear bumper fascia. I will contact my dealer tomorrow morning to have a tow truck sent to my house to pick the van up and have it repaired.

I have had nothing but problems, both big and small, with my brand new Nissan Quest se. I can almost deal with the sqeaks, rattles, broken buttons, broken lights, malfunctioning sensors, radio problems, and malfunctioning slider doors, but the problem I cannot accept is the failure of the car to run during damp or cold days. The car cranks and starts after a few attempts, but when it is put into drive it either lags as if it's running out of fuel, or dies completely. This has happened on at least 8 occassions, 2 of which I had to call a tow truck because I could not restart the car. Unfortunately, my dealership cannot replicate the problem so nothing has been done. Meanwhile, I never know if my car will run on these days, I have even been forced to walk down the street in below zero windchill temperatures with my children in order to get help. I purchased a new car to have safety and peace of mind, and instead I am losing sleep at night and asking Nissan to buy this car back. I will list the most recent occurrence on the form, but please note this has happened at least 8 times.
When vehicle gets up to speed of 58 to 63 there is a very bad vibration in the front end. Vehicle has been aligned, bearing has been replaced, rims and tires have been changed. Problem is still occurring. . Also the lamp socket, wiper switch, rack bolts, cup holder and hub assembly have all been replaced.
