I purchased 2015 Nissan Quest on July 3, 2019. After I brought it home, noticed it had a nil in front passenger tire. Went back to dealership on July 3, and adv the sales rep steve pusateri. He stated that it would be fixed. Also advised that there is poor acceleration. July 6 2019, had an appt and nothing was found with acceleration, the tire was fixed. On July 11, 2019, my wife was on a road trip, and text steve to advise that the van is shaking and theres a maintenance issue. On August 7th, my wife took the van to dunn tire. That is where they advised her that the tires are t and v rating tires, and they should never be combined and that is dangerous. Dunn tire brought to my attention that the tire depth was at 3-32. Took van back to dealer on Thursday August 8, to check out the shaking, they advised that there was a broken belt in one of the tires, and that causes the shaking. At that time, we brought to their attention about the mixture of tires on van. And we also adv that the rear tire was cracked, and leaking air per dunn tire. When we purchased the van, the dealership advised us that the van was certified and had a detailed inspection. On the certified pre owned inspection checklist it reads as follows. The tread depth was at 5-32. How could mike barney Nissan certify the vehicle, with a combination of different tires on the van? this was a danger to my wife and 3 children, while they were traveling on the highway. . When we picked up the van on August 13, the can had 4 brand new tires. After leaving that night, the van continues to shake. My wife left a message for service rep August 14, and she has yet to return the call.

At 9k miles these bridgestone tires are wearing on the exterior side walls. Dealership says it is because of alignment! we have had the alignment done 3 times over the past 10k miles! tires are now showing white 'wire' and must be replaced! once again, dealership says alignment issue when I took it in! and again, alignment is perfect! tires have been rotated every 3-5k mikes at oil change. These tires should not be doing this with only 21k miles on them!.

This is a formal complaint to the tires/wheels that Nissan has selected for placement on the 2012 Nissan Quest. The toyo a22 235/55/18 tires are completely worn at 26,000 miles. We did not discover the issue with the tires until a third party inspected the vehicle. The vehicle will not pass inspection. All service has occurred at a Nissan authorized dealer at the recommended intervals. The service groups at sheehy Nissan and grapevine Nissan did not alert us to the dangers. I have spoken with Nissan regional consumer affairs and alerted them to the concern and issues surrounding the rapid wear. It is our belief that the Nissan Quest is to heavy for the tires that were selected on the vehicle, and/or the tire is defective. Nissan regional consumer affairs has decided not to intervene, or assist on our behalf. According to Nissan employee [xxx],Nissan does not have information on the toyo a22 tire,or knowledge of weight characteristics&what constitutes abnormal wear. When explaining I was recording the call she abruptly hung up. She did state that the tire was soft&did not have a warranty. In addition, she stated that Nissan does not have any responsibility to the consumer regarding the tires,& that the entire matter is toyo's responsibility. I requested to speak with a supervisor & was denied. I asked if the complaint could be reported. She said there was no other mechanism to report this within Nissan. According to toyo the a22 235/55/18 tire is a custom part manufactured to Nissan specs. After conducting an internet search there are many mentions of Nissan Quest tires wearing early. My belief is that Nissan has not accurately calculated the vehicle weight correctly,&has chosen tires that can jeopardize the safety of the passengers&motorists. An additional complaint for toyo is being filed stating that the tire is not robust enough for the vehicle weight it is handling. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
I have 20,000 miles on my car and my tires need replacing! I purchased it new in April 2012. I have had it for a year and a half. I drive it carefully and have the tires rotated when needed. I had a flat on Monday on my way to work. That evening I had it looked at for repair. It cannot be repaired. The tire tread is very low. They are bridgestone turanza. I bought a van because I'm driving children around frequently. Why couldn't Nissan put better tires on this vehicle? when you buy a new car, you assume that you won't have to repair anything for several years. Now I have to buy a new set of tires at christmas time! I am really unhappy! I checked this site to see if there is a recall on tires. I certainly hope so!.
The front tires wear quickly on the outside edges. Bought van new and within 5,000 miles the front tires were bald on outside edge of both tires. Alignment was checked and determined to be in spec. Rotated tires to back and now rotated tires exhibiting same wear pattern. Tires will not pass inspection due to wear on outside edge and loose traction in wet weather.
I bought a 2012 Nissan Quest almost 2 years ago. I have 20,000 miles on the vehicle and the tires are horrible! they are bridgestone turanza el 400. They are feathering and balding. It is very difficult to drive in the rain or other weather conditions. These tires have been rotated every 5,000 miles. . . It is extremely frustrating that you buy a 30,000 vehicle and have tires that aren't worth anything on it!.
My vehicle was t-boned on the left driver side. The front quarter panel and rear quarter panel was damaged. The left wheel and tire rod was replaced. The tires were replaced but every since this accident I have had severe issues with my front end steering and rattling noice. I cannot drive over bumps without my front end feeling like it shifts and I cannot turn curves over 20 mph or else it begins to shake extremely bad. I have had mutiple work done and it keeps doing the same thing. It is definitely not safe to continue driving with my kids in it but its all I have. I cannot exceed 30 mph on a straight way without the vehicle shaking vigorously.
Manufacturer refused to investigate why the consumer's vehicle stalled. The vehicle would stall without cause. The mechanics could not find the problem. The consumer request to be reimbursed for the repair costs, economic losses, and loss of transportation. Other problem are as followed: the engine would come on along with the vehicle dying out, output shaft leak, brake leakage, a/c did not blow cold, power antenna made noises when in use, the sunroof leaked water, right rear wheel leaked fluid, and there was leak coming form the left axle area. The service dealer found the positioning cable was not making connection and the fuse links did not make a connection, the a/c remained blowing cold after 2 hoses had been replaced. The a/c compressor was coming apart internally causing metal to release throughout the system.
