As I was driving the vehicle (2011 Nissan Rogue) cut off as I was slowing down. The vehicle began jerking as I was driving. All the lights on the dashboard came on and the vehicle shut off at a stop light. During another incident the vehicle stalled while going down a rode with a small hill. Then stalled on the highway off ramp. Luckily, we had a shoulder area to pull off. After sitting in the vehicle an waiting for 10 - 15 minutes the vehicles started and began driving fine. We later took the car to our local mechanic and her changed all the belts, axle rods, ball joints as wells as an oil change. The car rod fine for 3 months then bam! once again the same issues occurred. Our mechanic suggested researching information about the transmission because he felt the car transmission should not be the problem but from all the problems we were telling him, him thinks it is the transmission. We have read several current and former Nissan Rogue owner complaints and realized the problem was bigger than minor wear and tear. I would appreciate if the NHTSA will take this matter seriously and have Nissan take responsibility for the faulty work it is doing with vehicles put the lives of millions at risk daily!!!!.
