Three problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 2014 Nissan Rogue. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Please also check out the statistics and reliability analysis of the 2014 Nissan Rogue based on all problems reported for the 2014 Rogue.
The airbag sensor on the passenger side has been diagnosed by a Nissan dealership as inoperable and needs to be replaced. The car has only 58k miles on it. Clearly the fence from the first recall which effected thousands of other 2014-2017 Nissan Rogues needs to be expanded. A passenger sitting in the front passenger position of the car is not going to be protected by frontal airbags.
Airbag sensor issue. Light coming on dashboard. Nissan dealer asked for $140 for diagnostic test before the issue can be evualted, but Nissan Rogue 2014 has recall on this airbag issue.
Intermittent and inconsistent: with passenger in passenger seat, the airbag off light is on. I have had the dealer look at it on 3 separate occasions and they cannot find anything. Passenger side seat belt light comes on intermitently (as if passenger is not wearing seat belt, but really is. I believe these are serious issues with the sensors in the passenger seat. . .
