8 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 06/23/2016

My vehicle was recalled for an airbag sensor problem. I brought it in for the repair and now the airbag 'off'' light for the passenger seat is on. I called my dealership and they said that now the airbag light will stay on until a passenger weighing 120 lbs or more sits in the seat. The airbags will not deploy if someone under 120 lbs sits in the seat. . They didn't mention this when I was in for the recall and it seems quite dangerous. The manual indicates there is a problem if the light is still on 10 seconds after starting the car. They told me to disregard that it will now be on until someone over 120 lbs. Sits in the seat. Can this be right? if so they need to tell people that there's no airbag for people under 120lbs. A lot of adults weigh less than 120lbs and I'm sure not many people are aware that they have no airbag protection. Thanks for your consideration.
