Our front and backup camera do not work. We took it to a Nissan dealer on April 20, 2026, and was advised that the avm control unit has to be replaced. They found and recommended: "all system scan found avm missing from dtc sheet. Performed can diag found avm offline. Rec replace avm control unit. " research shows that there is a defect in the rear wiper grommet or seal allowing water to enter the liftgate, contributing to the overall failure of the rear hatch components - water corroded the rear backup camera unit.
My rear view window shattered with no impact or anything to cause it. I was backing out of my garage rear end first, and it was a loud bam!.
I was driving down the road when I heard a loud popping noise. When I got out to check I noticed my sunroof/moonroof was shattered. When traveling down the road there were no cars in front of me, no construction sites, and no over passes. The incident happened randomly. There were no problems with the sunroof prior to this. There was no impact.
Was sitting in my car at the dunkin’ donuts when my rear window shattered. Nothing hit the window, no one hit me the window just shattered. Dunkin donuts is looking at cameras to see what happened.
> I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue brand new and it now has only 32,000 miles. It has a major water leak—flooding the interior through the lights, vents, and floor—yet Nissan won’t cover it under warranty and state farm denied my comprehensive claim. The vehicle has sat exposed for 3 weeks at the body shop during constant rain, worsening the damage. The car is now unsafe to drive. Nissan failed to disclosure valid and pertinent information regarding the limitations on their warranty coverage. Furthermore, Nissan failed to disclose maintenance guidelines for maintaining a sunroof. Additionally, regardless of any debris build-up, the size of the water lines are inadequate to hold large volumes of water at a given time. The amount of rain that has occurred in alabama over the past 3 months super exceeds the capacity of these drainage tubes, leading to interior flooding that is detrimental to the integrity of the safety features in this vehicle. My lights, electrical panel, air bags, and electrical ports have all been impacted by this intrusion and now I'm left with a useless, unsafe, and unpredictable vehicle that has a total of 32,000 miles. This is fraud and deceptive behavior that should be made public. I believe others need to know this could happen. I’d appreciate your help.
My back window exploded. I was just driving and the whole thing shattered. Thought I was shot with a gun but after the cops came they checked my car and found out this exploding window is common with the newer Nissan Rogues. I have the incident on dash cam too. I now have to pay $500 for my deductible to fix the window since Nissan won’t take responsibility. My car is being repaired tomorrow. I do have a police report number but I can’t move onto the next page without the report so I’m stating “no” but the answer is “yes”.
Back window shattered.
Nissan put faulty roof rack seals on my vehicle. This is the same issue as they had in 2021 when they issued a service bulletin. They are willing to fix the roof rack seals but not replace the headliner. This has caused an unhealthy musty smell in the cabin and a big stain on the headliner and a-pillars. Nissan corporate will not cover the cost of a new headliner and a-pillars but can’t guarantee a stain free headliner to pre-stain condition.
Panoramic moonroof exploded.
