Engine Cooling System problems of the 2024 Nissan Rogue

The contact owns a 2024 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph with his granddaughter inside the vehicle, and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle started shaking and shut off unintendedly. The check engine warning light was illuminated. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a turbocharger failure. The contact was informed that the turbocharger needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 25v437000 (engine and engine cooling); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 60,000.
