The contact stated while making a right turn, the contact was notified that the driver’s side door was opened and the dome light inside of vehicle was illuminated. The contact pulled over on the side of the ride and opened and closed the door several times for the door to close properly. The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 22v024000 (electrical system) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the driver's and passenger's side doors would not unlock automatically with the unlock door switch from the driver's side front door. Additionally, the driver's and passenger's side windows failed to roll up or down as needed. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the doors were closed and locked securely; however, the vehicle had been stolen and had been moved several times because it appeared anyone with a compatible key fob to the year, make, and model of the vehicle could unlock or move the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that the sunroof would not close properly. The contact stated upon pulling into a gas station and attempting to exit the vehicle, the front driver's side door failed to unlock. The contact stated that she was able to unlock the door 30 minutes later after several attempts. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that no issues were found. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was unavailable.

6 Door Latch problem of the 2009 Nissan Rogue

Failure Date: 01/01/2011

2009 Nissan Rogue. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle door handles latch assembly freezing problems. The consumer stated the driver's door would not open from the outside. The cable on the actuator had become detached. The dealer attempted to repair it, by re-attaching the cable. In November 2011, during freezing temperatures, the door failed again. The cable had detached again. So the mechanic re-attached it with a wire tie. On December 19, 2013, the door failed again, when the consumer walked around to the passenger side door, he discovered it had failed as well. The consumer discovered a technical service bulletin had been issued for the problem.
