The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Rogue. While washing the vehicle, the contact became aware that the rear control arms were extremely rusted. The contact stated that the control arm on the driver’s side was completely rusted and was separated from the weld. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the control arm needed to be replaced. The contact believed that the failure was caused by the cheap metal used to manufacture the control arm. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 69,009.
