A component in my transmission failed. I hooked it up to a code reader and it is saying its a solenoid. My car did not experience any warning signs or trouble. It just out if no where decided it wont go into reverse and move and it wont move in drive either. It did this and then after the engine made a noise the check engine light turned on. It is now at a repair shop being looked at. Again this happened out of the blue with no warning signs. I also have only had the car for one year.

I have owned this vehicle since it was new and the collision sensor light would occasionally blink when the weather was cold, damp or foggy. My Nissan tech told me not to worry about it as long as the car was not braking without necessity. About a month ago, the collision sensor light was blinking and shortly thereafter, the front radar (collision avoidance) sensor malfunctioned, warning lights and sound occurred and the aeb system deployed and car was stopped abruptly. There was no traffic and I was able to coast to the side of the road. I placed the car in park and then in drive and car was back to normal operation. Several days later the lane departure warning occurred for no reason but the car did not shut down. I took the car to dick smith Nissan, st. Andrews road, columbia, SC for service. They replaced the collision sensor for a cost of $2300. 00. I called Nissan customer service, received a complaint number ([xxx]) but was told there was nothing Nissan could or would do. This is a problem occurring in many Nissan models over several years. Some of these malfunctioning sensors have been replaced under warranty. Others are part of class action suits in several states. I believe some models have been the subject of recalls. Nissan will not admit that there is a flaw in these sensors and it is a safety issue if the vehicle stalls in heavy traffic or on the interstate. I was lucky that I when my car stalled, I was in town with no traffic and was able to pull off the road. I’m hoping replacing the sensor has solved my problem but it was costly. Ntsb should be aware of this safety issue and document incidents regarding these collision sensors. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

I purchased a brand new 2025 Nissan Rogue on June 4, 2025, with the expectation that its propilot and safety assist features would function reliably under normal driving conditions. However, just three days after purchase, a warning light began appearing that reads: “warning: driving aids temporarily limited. ” this message occurs randomly and under regular driving conditions, without provocation, and causes the propilot/safety assist systems to disable themselves entirely. At the time this first occurred, the vehicle had only been driven a few miles and had been kept in clean, well-maintained condition. I contacted the dealership immediately and scheduled a service appointment for June 16, 2025. In the days leading up to that appointment, the issue continued to occur unpredictably, making the driving experience both frustrating and unsafe. The vehicle has now been in the dealership’s possession for multiple days (as of June 18, 2025), and no resolution has been found. The technicians have not been able to diagnose or correct the issue, and I have been left without a functioning vehicle. This problem was not disclosed prior to purchase, and the repeated system failure of essential safety features is unacceptable, especially on a brand new car. The inclusion of advanced driver assistance was a primary factor in my decision to purchase this vehicle. Having these systems work only intermittently presents a significant safety risk to myself and others on the road, and undermines the integrity of the vehicle's advertised capabilities. I am filing this formal complaint to document the issue and request prompt action and resolution from Nissan consumer affairs and NHTSA.
Our 2019 Nissan Rogue sv crash warning light came on the instrument cluster, also it stopped letting me know when I was going over the lane. The warning sign is still coming on and will not turn off. The button switch on left section on the steering wheel do not functioning. After a diagnostic test it was shown to be the forward collision warning (fcw). I understand that this seems to be a problem with this particular type of vehicles and it has been reported many times but no recall have been initiated, I feel very unsafe driving it, it is estimated the cost to repair this problem is about $2600.
I live in melbourne florida, when going to pick up the wife I turn on the adas as I was leaving the house and I got this message. Unavailable camera temperature high accompanied by the crash sign signal. This not only negated the blind spot warning, forward collision warning, lane departure warning but also then back-up camera. Also the sun also blocks the vision of the back-up camera dealer said it was in the sun to long, but when I told him the collision icon was on he said to make an appointment to have it looked at. Appointment is August 10. Question: if these are safety devises shouldn't the work all the time.

3/21/2023 rear crash warning went off and car would not move leaving me in the middle of the road blocking both lanes of traffic. Car eventually permitted me to go forward however crash warning continued to blink. It’s recorded on video the flashing warnings. Had the car at dealer for recall of head unit on 11/16 and has been back 3 times since and has not been repaired. On approx2/62024 I had a critical error appear on my screen and the abs took the car from 70 mph to under 40 on the highway for no reason. On 2/7 I was called to bring the car back to dealer and was given a rental car for over a month, there was a firewall repair and fuel line repair. Still no head unit with no eta! from my understanding head unit will hopefully fix sensors from randomly going off. Dispite having video of it happening, Nissan can’t duplicate so warning issues are not repaired. The car is dangerous but have no other means of transportation and it can’t seem to get repaired because they don’t have the parts yet still have the parts to continue to produce them.
In the past two weeks my emergency braking system warned me and slightly breaker when I was driving uphill with no obstacles in my path. Now my front safety aids don’t work at all. No emergency breaking, no lane departure or lane recognition. The dealership has worked on it twice, now going in for a third time next Monday. It’s dangerous and it keeps glitching, going on and off randomly.

I am getting this warning. Took the car for recall repairs on June 15. They told me to fix the camera but I don’t really sure. Still getting warning sign on dashboard and afraid to drive . I contact Nissan’s customer service on June 26 to inform them and I’m still waiting for their call it is almost brand new car and only 12000 miles on it.
When driving I got close to the rumble strip and when getting back into the lane the side airbags deployed not the one on the wheel or in front of passenger seat. The car didn't hit anything either.
