Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2006 Nissan Sentra

The airbags did not deploy and my car was total in a front end collision while in motion on a city street when engaging into a turn.

Air bags deployed, the drivers side deployed while closing the door vehicle not moving, the steering wheel airbag & the dash airbag deployed while the vehicle was in motion, on rural road, it was a short distance from my house so after the bags blew, I drove the vehicle back to the house, no police were involved. Did not have collision insurance on the vehicle, I called Nissan and they said there was no recall on the airbags at that time, since there is a recall I asked Nissan to replace the blown airbags and they refused, said it was not their fault. The passenger side airbag did not deploy, and I was told that is the only one on recall, what can if anything I do? john coward.

I was involved in a collision recently where I ended up under the cab of a delivery truck. I am not sure, but my speed was approximately 30-40mph. I hit the brakes when I realized the truck was going through and intersection, however it had been raining and I slid right underneath it. My airbags did not deploy.

On December 29, 2008, my son and his girlfriend were involved in an auto accident. He was driving a 2006 Nissan Sentra with side airbags. His vehicle was hit on the driver's side. The driver's front airbag and side airbag deployed. The passengers' front airbag deployed however the passenger's side airbag did not deploy. Injuries - driver - right femur fracture right tibia and fracture to left pelvis; passenger - severe head injury. Are all airbags supposed to deploy or not when the vehicle is involved in an auto accident?.

I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra and involved in a crash. Another driver turned left in front of me. I hit her going approximately 45mph. My front driver's side hit her front driver's side. My air bag did not deploy. At 45mph the air bag should have deployed. I now have neck injuries. There was a little over $2,200 damage to the front of my car and it was not drivable due to the front left tire being pushed almost all the way into the wheel well. I just saw a safety recall for other Nissan's for airbag problems and am wondering if the Sentra's should have been included. Thank-you.
