Nissan Sentra engine control module (ecm) & positive battery terminal cable (pbtc) - VIN missing from inclusion in multiple campaign numbers replacement of my ecm completed in December of 2016 by woodfield Nissan in hoffman estates, IL (invoice attached). Now my positive battery terminal cable needs to be replaced (invoice not yet issued as car is still in the possession of the service station of m'lady Nissan in crystal lake, IL). In line with campaign numbers 10v555000 & 11v579000. My VIN number is not associated with either of these campaigns. I fear for my safety and the safety of others in regards to oversight of my vehicle's exclusion and possibly other consumers as well as the recall notes there possibility for the engine to stop running while driving increasing the risk of a crash. My vehicle had a no start in both instances prompting the need for repairs. Also, vehicle has experienced power drains/fluctuation while idling and driving (can be confirmed by m'lady Nissan in crystal lake, IL). Dealer service center indicated no issue with the starter or alternator and completed a full start-up check. Mileage at time of ecm replacement: 77,647 mileage at time of pbtc replacement: 79,801.
My piston rod penetrated through the engine block. Mechanic at empire lakewood Nissan stated my drain plug was tight, and the oil level is in the safe zone on dipstick. My car has an Nissan extended gold preferred warrant until 3/22/2017, and has declined the repair of my car since I did not have all oil changes done at a dealership. Stating they can not verify the quality of work on a non-Nissan facility. I have exactly 31,749 miles on this car. Its a 2010 Nissan Sentra purchased brand new. My car starting smoking, I stopped the car immediately, and had it towed to the nearest Nissan delearship after hours.
"takata recall"the vehicle was working perfectly since 04/14/2016 until 08/20/2016 I drove the vehicle for 30 minutes then I park it at my place, and the next day I try to start it and was completely dead. It just had the airbag light. I replaced the battery for a new one, it started again. I went for a drive for 1 hour and when I stop at the car wash place to vacuum my car it didn't start at all, acting the same way as the day before. It was completely dead.
Before after and during an oil change veg shakes. When ac is on car shakes and engine shakes like its about to die. . It's not the battery in.

Noise in motor while running after it was fixed. For about a month it was quite and now it is back and they say no one can hear it!.
Car would not start. I called dealership and was told that there was a known problem with the right battery cable connection and to just tighten it. I had my husband tighten it and it did start. This happened two additional times after this. Thankfully my husband was with me and he was able to jggle the cable and we did get the car started. Recently I was out alone shopping late at night coming from the mall and the car again would not start. Had my brother in law come to my rescue. I brought the car to the dealer ship today today and I was assured that this problem would not happen again. I drove home and then had to go back out for something we needed for dinner and the car again would not start. I had just left the dealership service station. Did some further research on line and found out that the recall parts wont be distributed until 11/29. So what am I suppose to do in the meantime. Also this issue can cause the car to stop suddenly at low speeds and cause accidents not to mention damage to the engine. Why was I told that the issue was resolved when I found out the recall parts were not even available at that time to resolve this issue??? I dont feel safe driving this car and feel Nissan should replace the vehicle for me. I purchased a new car so that I would not have to worry about getting to my job etc. I had a several used cars that I put alot of money into and decided to go new to give me some piece of mind.
Driving on highway car stops, had it in shop 4 times said nothing wrong. Heard about recall???.
