Air Bag Light On problems of the 2008 Nissan Titan

The brake lights signal turns on and a light grinding noise can be heard and brakes go out. I have to stop for a few minutes and turn off my truck. After a few minutes, I turn on the truck and the brake lights turns off and my brakes start working again. This has happened more than twice. Thank god that the times it has happen there has been hardly any traffic. Although, one day it happened on the freeway so I calmed down, release the gas pedal and cruised to the next exit and pulled into a gas station. All this time the brake fluid reservoir is full so after turning off the truck and turning it back on again, that solves the problem. This is very scary because we've been trying to take vacations on the truck and I don't feel safe driving it like this, especially with my three kids in the back. Another issue that I have is the airbag light just stays on and flashing. I've tried having it reset but it doesn't work. We have a 2007 Nissan armada also and it has the same issues as my Titan. We thought that by buying Nissan we wouldn't have any issues, but we were wrong.

Tl the contact owns a 2008 Nissan Titan. While driving different speeds and upon starting the vehicle, a noise was detected from the front passenger side of the vehicle. The contact also mentioned that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to grainger Nissan (1550 chatham pkwy, savannah, GA 31408, (912) 480-6996) where it was diagnosed that the manifold needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 167,000.
