4 Headlights problem of the 2006 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 04/26/2006

My 2006 Nissan Titan has had moisture inside of my drivers headlight since it was new. There are no issues with the light on the passenger side of the vehicle. I reported the incident to Nissan consumer affairs on 02/20/2014 and asked for a review of the defect and repair. I documented the defect at hanlees Nissan per Nissan request and forwarded the information to them. I am told since the vehicle is beyond the warranty period that they would not be able to assist me. I contend that this defect is a safety issue and creates a hazard for lamp failure and distorts light emission from the headlight when in use. I did some research on line and found that other customers have had similar problems with the headlights having issues with water trapped inside the light. I am very disappointed in the response from Nissan and believe that this is not an isolated occurance and should be investigated and that Nissan should be held accountable for the defect and have an obligation to remedy the issue or issue a refund for my Titan that I purchased new.
