2 Seats problem of the 2017 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 12/06/2022

We were not told of a recall, however the service department said we requested a check for recall back in 08/2019 when vehicle was taken in for oil change. Our next visit was due to an engine light coming on, nothing was found & removed from dash. The vehicle then had to constantly be jumped, dealership changed battery. Vehicle still had problems starting, dealership changed starter. A month later vehicle still not starting, parking sensor light flashed real fast, dash screen kept showing “no key detected, key system error, lights flickered & radio made a loud popping sound, passenger seat kept going forward/back, up & down, making funny sound under hood, gauges going up & down, wipers going off. Upon charging battery again, moments later won’t start again. I am afraid this all has to do with the recall they had on the alternator harness wiring, but dealer keeps saying there is no recall because there is currently no open recall on the vehicle. Is there anything I can do about this? have been in contact with dealership and Nissan consumer. Nissan consumer informed they are not able to purchase the vehicle back or offer another source of transportation because there is no recall. Vehicle is currently being sent to dealer again…will not start.

Climate controlled heated and cooled seat on drivers side does not heat or cool effectively. There is barely a temperature difference between off and on. Dealer advised it must completely stop working to fix even though it heats less than half of what the passenger seat does.

6 Seats problem of the 2017 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 09/28/2019

The driver seat has become separated from the seat frame in only 2 years. The same thing appears to be starting on the passenger side as well. The concern is the potential for serious or fatal injury in the event of an accident or even a sudden stop. Seat seems to have come loose and pushed seat cushion towards the console. This did not happen during any type of accident and appears to be a manufacturer's defect. This is a problem that Nissan is aware of and should addressed before some is hurt or fatally injured.

10 Seats problem of the 2013 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 07/15/2015

My drivers seat is falling apart it has been this way for at least a year it is now starting to cut me and tear my clothes took it to the dealership and they said it was under warranty but I would have to pay half of the cost witch is $550 I know others with this same issue but why should we have to pay for this problem. Also my when I'm driving my truck the truck whines when I stare right to left or left to right my truck is 3 years old and it sounds like it's falling apart whenever you go over any bumps, for the price of this vehicle I shouldn't have problems like this.

11 Seats problem of the 2004 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 12/04/2009

Passenger seat back on 2004 Nissan Titan became very loose and wobbly. I had a Nissan service look at it and determine it needed replacing. When the new frame arrived from Nissan, it was exactly like the original frame. The service center had to reinforce the frame so it would be rigid and safe. I still have the original seat frame in my possession for inspection . I believe this seat frame does not meet safety standards.

12 Seats problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 01/01/2007

1. This is piggy backing on TSB #05092; NHTSA item #10017420. I can't understand why this isn't a recall. I know Nissan doesn't want a recall because they just gave me a quote for $600 to fix their defect!!! and where does safety start inside the vehicle? the seats! so I'm basically asking NHTSA to upgrade this TSB to a recall. 2. The right front passenger seat rattles and moves constantly. Consequences I don't even want to think about if we get in an accident and my family is in the truck. Lose seat; not good. 3. I have a quote that shows the "seat adjuster" needs to be replaced. And it's for the low low cost of $600. Again, no wonder Nissan would rather slide this through on TSB rather than recall. The seat has done this as long as I can remember so the 1/1/07 date is not exact (I bought the truck in 2005). Also, this repair is not covered under extended warranty. I travel very frequently so I missed getting my truck in under the manufacturer's warranty, which expired in Aug-08. Thanks!.

13 Seats problem of the 2004 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 01/01/2006

I have a 2004 Nissan Titan le extend cab with off road package and towing package. I have had to have the brakes looked at about every 20k miles. I currently have 67k on it, and I had it in the shop for 3 day while waiting on Nissan corp to decide if they would still cover the brake defect. The dealer told us they could only turn the rotors and replace the pads, which they did 2x's. Now it needs new rotors and pads, and suddenly the recall is no longer in effect, so I will have to pay over $500 to get this done. I refuse, and I am still waiting on Nissan corp to call me. I will never buy another Nissan again, their customer service is horrible.
