1 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 11/03/2017

I was never notified of a recall on my vehicle (no. 15v-573) that was issued 09/10/15. It appears that it is still incomplete. How are they allowed to get away with not providing a remedy in a timely manner. And now another recall (no. 17v-449) says they don't even have a part to repair the defect (takata air bag inflator rupture). The first recall says the defect could result in damages that could result in a crash and the air bag deploying could result in death. What options are available when you can't trade in the car? also, I'm not allowed to take part in the class action because I haven't taken my vehicle to the dealership for repair yet (because I can't). Now I'm very anxious every time I get behind the wheel of my car.

2 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2017

I am referring to chapter 11 case no. 17-11375(bls).

3 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2017

My car is, what the dealership calls, grounded. Stating it is unsafe to drive. I received a recall. I have been without my car since then. It sits in a lot at the dealership with, what the parts manager told me, with a whole lot full of my year, make and model for this same reason. The other problem is the computer model, which has been on back order since 08/2017. On national back order I was told, which could be the next recall. I am checking by my VIN if this is the case. There are at least 8 recalls for this year Versa, depending on the VIN.

4 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 04/16/2017

2012 nissa Versa hatchback. Front driver's side suspension spring broke Sunday, April 16th, 2017. Vehicle's odometer was just over 56,000 miles at the time. Travelling for the weekend, put on about 70 miles before it broke. The spring broke while in park. Unbeknownst to me at the time, this spring was part of recall 15v573000. I had never received any notification regarding this recall, so I had the vehicle serviced at a local shop. Then, after later learning of the recall, I contacted Nissan multiple times requesting any form of reimbursement, even partial reimbursement. I was denied because the repair work had not been done by them. They claimed they were "not in a position" to offer any type of reimbursement.

5 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 04/10/2017

I had the exact same issue as a recall that was supposedly solved 11 days before my car was manufactured. My car has been on the road for less than 5 years (it will be 5 years this December) and is still under 60,000 miles (it has about 52,000). Both of the front springs recently broke, and I am from one of the states who issued a recall for Nissan Versas manufactured from 2006- November 11, 2012 (mine was manufactured on November 23, 2012). This type of issue cannot be caused by user error, and the recall that does not cover my vehicle specifically mentioned that the front springs could be corroded by salt on the road for things like snow- something that is a big issue in my state. I believe that the springs should be covered and/or recalled at less than 5 years or 60,000 miles, especially so soon after they allegedly fixed/changed the part outlined in the recall. I started hearing clunking noises that increased over the course of a week in sound and frequency, only when I turned my wheel far (in either direction) whether stationary or in motion, regardless of speed.

6 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 03/04/2017

Too bouncy when driving and squeeking sound when driving slow on curves un even that occurs before I got the Nissan Versa 2012.

7 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 11/30/2015

Car squeakes when going over speed bumps or uneven road. Have already had transmission replaced and check engine light came on 4 different times for the mass air flow. My car has only 57,340 miles on it. When their was recall for the transmission, my car VIN was not included in the recall but, ended up having to be replaced. ???????.

8 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 11/30/2015

Salesman/dealer did not disclose vehicle maintenance report when requested. Was told that the vehicle was not involved in any accidents. 1) vehicle rolls back after it is put in park. May have been associated with previous recall. 2) when putting car in gear, can feel tugging in the floor board of driver side. Called recall. Gov and was told that there were 4 recalls on the vehicle in which 2 had already been performed. Called Nissan dealer and scheduled an appointment for service for 12/31 to rectify those issues.

9 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 05/25/2015

While pulling into a parking space with my steering wheel turned sharply to the left I heard a loud metal thump in the right front wheel well. The next day at the service shop I was told that I had a broken right front spring that had compromised my strut. The whole repair ended up costing me $749. It is important to note that drive a 2012 Versa with only 56,753 miles on it! there is no way that this spring should have broken! I didn't hit any bumps or potholes, I was just pulling into a parking space. Had this happened at highway speed and popped a tire or severed a brake line a serious accident could have occurred. There is obviously a defect in the springs that are being used, Nissan needs to seriously look into this issue.

10 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2015

My car has a little over 56,000 miles on it and since having this car I have had several issues with this car. I have taken it to the dealer for repair of the mass air flow and related components on 3 separate occasions. I have had 1 cvt transmission replacement and knows seems like something is going on with the suspension. After doing research, I have found several complaints and a service bulletin for this same issues which is sasid to be the spring coils. This is ridiculous to have this many issues with a car that is only 3 years old and less than 60,000 miles on it. Nissan needs to offer every customers that owns this car a replacement car. Seriously!!! not to mention all the other recalls that never get associated with your VIN but, still has the issues.

11 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 03/22/2014

Noise coming from springs when going over any bumps especially when it is cold. Dealer drove vehicle at 35000 miles in 2014 and said they could not reproduce the issue. I drove from dealer and was able to reproduce. Saw 2015 recall #15v573000 and took car to different dealer and they state my VIN is not on the recall. Car still has same issue, Nissan will not provide documentation for my car to show that coils are not the same lot that is on recall.
