We took our Nissan Versa into tynan's Nissan (780 s havana st, aurora, CO 80012) for the recall on the coil springs. After they replaced the coil springs on our low mileage Nissan Versa, the ball joint on the passenger side failed within 10 miles of them replacing the coil springs for the recall. When this happened it put my amanda and our child in danger. Luckily they are safe and unharmed. Jason at tynan's Nissan service department initially apologized and said they would take care of everything and gave us a loaner vehicle, now 3 days later they are trying changing their story and trying to make us pay for the damage they caused during the recall repair. There is no way that a passenger side ball joint would coincidentally break on a low mileage car immediately after coil spring replacement unless they did something wrong to the vehicle to cause it. Tynan's Nissan is either not doing the recall repairs properly, or they purposely damaged our car for the purpose of taking our money. Either way we feel they should no longer be allowed to do recall repairs if they cannot do them without causing damages.

Vehicle failed virginia sate inspection citing both right and left front ball joints needing replaced. This vehicle has just over 50,000 miles and it seems odd that both ball joints have failed at such a low mileage. With Nissans recall of other parts of the front end this seems like another part failure.
This is a 2010 Nissan Versa. I bought the car brand new. Has 35k miles on it. Already replaced transmission in 2013. Have had numerous tire issues that the mechanics can't seem to figure out, when I take it to the dealer, they want to charge high dollars and the issue still exists. Today while backing straight out of my driveway I heard a huge bang followed by the car not moving forward or backwards. My neighbor came out and informed me that the ball joint on the right front passenger side had snapped. He also indicated that this shouldn't happen to a car from 2010 and with such low mileage. This car has been a nightmare and money pit.

Exhaust system has been diagnosed with 2 separate failures requiring a weld job in order to repair. I have completed one at the cost of $200 and the second weld estimate is priced at $200. Both instances came on suddenly and without other warning. Exhaust smell occurs when car first starts and disapates after driving several miles. Each occurred at separate times. Both front ball joints have been noted by my mechanic as being looser and indicates needing replacement in the near future in order to avoid potentially fatal collision or significant additional damage to transmission, steering, etc. , systems.

:while pulling into the parking lot at work (thankfully was not driving on a road or at full speed), my front driver's side tire snapped out of place. At first, we thought it was a ball joint, but once it was brought to the garage, I was told that the spring had snapped and would need to be replaced on both sides, to the tune of 1400 dollars. While I am thankful that I wasn't driving on a highway or near pedestrians (I work in a city), having this happen on a 6 year old car seems a little suspicious. I hope there is some sort of recall and would love to know if Nissan is willing to reimburse the 1400 I unexpectedly had to pay.
Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Nissan Versa. The contact stated when making left turns, there was a clucking noise present. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a diagnosis and the they had diagnosed that the left front spring there was corrosion present and informed the contact that there was nothing to worry about, alternatetively, the vehicle had not been repaired. On a later occasion, the failure had been came worse and had fractured, which had fractured the left ball joint and strut. The vehicle was in the process of repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and they informed the contact that the vehicle had too many miles on the vehicle, therefore, they could not assist him even though he had initially taken the vehicle dealer at the approximate failure mileage of 30,000.
