Mid/rear Seats Assembly Problems of Nissan Versa

My front passenger door was closed and my side airbags deployed. My 4 year old son was in his car seat in the back seat on the passenger side when the air bags deployed. My car was in drive but I was not moving, I was dropping a friend off at home. It was on a city street. Nissan is refusing to pay for a rental until they come and look at my car, which they said would take 6 to 8 weeks.

Accident involved car spinning through intersection rear of car in direction of motion, rear of car impacted stationary Ford f-150 then rolled into ditch. During course of impact driver's seat back did not remain locked in an upright position, at conclusion of impact driver's seat was involuntarily allowed to go to the fully reclined position, 6 yr old rear seat passenger was partially impacted by seat back but due to cushion of seat no major injury was sustained.

I had a 2009 Nissan Versa(hatchback) that was made during 2008 but was a 2009. . . I am seeing other cars on here that have had the same issue with the seats. This is very troubling! I was sitting still in traffic when I was hit from behind by a speeding car doing around 60mph. On impact the drivers seat I was sitting in shot forward and then backwards as the back of the seat broke. Slamming me in to the back seat in a laying down position. Thank god I was not killed from the seat breaking. I know of someone else my husband works with that has the same year, make and model of car I had and the samething happened to him after he was hit from behind by a car going around 50mph. His seat also broke on impact.

My daughter was killed in a car wreck 10/3/11. She swerved to miss a deer, over corrected and the car slid into the opposite lane of traffic where she was hit on the passenger side of her car. She had her seat belt on but the back of her seat broke and she was thrown into the back seat and she was killed instantly. The other driver just had a sprained ankle and a few minor cuts & bruises. The officer who came to my door told me this should not have been a fatality accident!.

Front seats backs not holding in place. Pushing the chair trying to get something out of pocket, the back slips back. The other day hit in back of car and the seat collapsed into the back seat.
