Seats Problems of Nissan Versa

The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Versa . The contact stated while her husband was driving at 40 mph he depressed the brake pedal as the vehicle in front of him suddenly stopped. As a result the vehicle got rear ended by two other vehicles. The air bags did not deploy the driver and passenger seat fractured and seat belt became inoperable. The vehicle was towed. The contact stated both her and her husband sustained injuries to the head, shoulders, back, jaw. And left leg. Medical attention was required. The contact stated that a police report was filed but it is not available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired   the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. No takata recall. Also muffler failed after 37,000 miles requiring huge cost to repair mulffler and a pipe.

Steering column locked up key wouldn't unlock so I could drive. Steering wheel just wouldn't unlock. Had to have my car towed.

Vibrations felt through the steering column, seats and floor, whenever car is in gear and stopped at a light or idle. Vibration gets worse when ac or defrost is turned on. It goes away when I put the car in neutral. However car takes some time to move when shifting back to drive, and this can cause someone to hit you from behind. Taken to the dealer 3 times. I was told that this vibration is completely normal and there is nothing that can be done. Very disapointed to say the least.

Takata recall. I believe my car is included in the recall. It is a Nissan Versa 2013. The airbag light had recently started flashing without anything major happening to the car. The passenger seatbelt light had started flashing after I was involved in a small hit and run accident that affected the rear of my vehicle. I was in full stopped motion at a turning red light and an unknown person had rear ended my car, shortly after I had noticed the passenger seatbelt light had started flashing. I am in fear that the airbag light might or might not have to do with the hit and run, but it just started a few weeks ago while the accident was over 2 years ago. Please review as this is really important to me and I fear that I might get injured if the airbags are recalled and I get into another accident. Thank you.

After arriving home while taking groceries out of the car my grandson closed the door I dont believe it was hard (he's 4yrs old) the airbag deployed this is a cause for concern if a four year old can cause an airbag deployment there is oviously a problem with the senser when I called to report it I find out that im not the only one that this has happend to.

Whenever my wife who is about 100 pounds sits in the front passenger seat of our 2013 Nissan Versa LS, the airbag light goes on and the airbag safety feature is turned off. We are driving a rental from the dealer now, a 2013 Nissan rouge and it works just fine. The dealer states that our Versa works as intended???? even with my wife and my 4 year old in the front passenger seat, now total of 132 pounds the airbag light still turns on and disengages the airbag safety feature.

The front seats recline by itself when the vehicle is moving, the seat will fleap al the way to the back.

The contact had recent back surgery and was unable to driver, therefore he had to rise in the passenger seat and whenever the failure would recur, it would cause horrendous pain to the contact. The dealer replaced the passenger seat however, the failure continuously recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and authorized the first seat repair but would not assist with any further repairs.
