Fuzion touring 185/65r15 fuztour blew out on interstate 75 near wildwood florida. Driver side front. Replaced under prorated warranty. Second tire from same set blew out in a very similar fasion on June 6, 2014 on interstate 75. Luckily, no accident or injury. Contacted bridgestone and the tire choice where purchased (by previous owner). Since I am not the purchaser, they will not do anything. My primary concern is that tires with less than 11,000 miles blow out at highway speeds.

The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Versa equipped with bf goodrich all season radial tires, size: 185/65r15. The contact was driving over a gravel road when the tire blew. The contact took the tire to dealer, who advised that the thickness of the tire was inadequate and caused the tire to blow. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 43,000. The tire failure mileage was unavailable.

I purchased a brand new Nissan Versa sv on may 11, 2013. On December 1, 2013 I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden I could feel my steering wheel pull to the left. Then the entire car started shaking vigorously. My back left tire had blown out. My car only had 6,200 miles on it, my tires are suppose to be good for 60,000 miles. I took the nearest exit and parked in an apartment complex. Thankfully roadside assistance came very quickly. The person who assisted me was shocked that I wasn't in an accident and no damage occurred. When he took the tire off, we looked for damage to the tread, a nail or something that would have caused the blowout. There was no damage to the tread. The tire literally came apart from the side (the part of the tire you see when looking at the car from the side). I believe I have a defective tire(s) and I feel unsafe driving with these tires. Because of this, I do not recommend the continental contiprocontact all season tires.

2008 Versa, car started making whining noise, brought back and was told tires had cupping (sp?) and that it needed to be brought back to the dealer. Night before dealer appt. Back tired shredded while traveling on major interstate. Looked up complaints under tires on this site and there is a pending investigation onto the continental tires for "allege sudden and catastrophic failure of tire including tread separation" Nissan dealer says that they will not replace the back tire because blow out was due to road hazards. Sent them the investigation link. Waiting to hear how they will handle. These tires are dangerous and could be putting lives in danger. (mileage listed may be 10-15 miles less than on odometer. . . Do not have vehicle still at dealership).
