2007 Nissan Versa. Consumer writes in regards to issues with vehicles tires.
I have ordered a pair of tires from discount tire direct and after I put them on the car, I thought they are ok, so I ordered another pair. Few months later one of the tires developed un-round shape and it was torn from the inside. I have contacted discount tire direct, and they forced me to pay another $14, and I returned the bad one and they sent me another one same make and model. This week I have the same problem again. One of the tires developed that un-round shape again. Both incidents happened on our family car where my little kids are inside the car. That’s unacceptable; if any of these deformations would have caused the tire to explode, that would have caused unacceptable harm to my family. This product threatens the well being of my family. At this time I no longer accept this product at all and I demand a full refund for all the money I have paid so far. I have all receipts, photos for the first tire, photos for the second tire, and all 4 tires. Note: the tires writen on them milestar ms932 88h nss-01-12f0.

Tires out of round. Tires cause vehicle to shake and wobble. Goodyear replaced both tire under warrant. Tires were only a month old. Problem was noticed immediately, thought it was a balance issue. After having tires rebalanced by two different shops there was still an issue. When I contacted the goodyear 800# they helped with replacement under warranty.

Have had my Nissan Versa since 2009, got it with 50 miles on the car. Spent 2 years in florida with it without a problem and in the past year I've had so many issues with this car I'll never buy another Nissan again. Have replaced all of the tires twice and today I was a mile from my home when my car had issues accelerating and starting making a loud rattling noise. I've come to find out that my muffler has broken at the flange. Apparently this is common with these Nissans and nothing has been done to change it. This can cause carbon monoxide poisoning god forbid someone parks this car in their garage and could also cause an accident if the entire muffler rusts and falls out of someones car while their on the highway.

I just bought a 2009 Nissan Versa. While driving on a wet road and taking a corner the car lost traction forcing me to slow down to almost a halt. The stock tires (185/65r15) seem to be undersized for the high center of gravity.
Soon after our purchase, 6/07, the light came on, its been back to many different dealers over a dozen times,,. It cannot be disconnected, disengaged. Reprogramming is one option, replacing at $150/visit per wheel is the other option. We have had both on multiple occasions. Our problem is, that the sensor when it fails, tells the tire to reduce pressure. A perfectly good tire filled with 37 psi will in 24 hours come down to 20 psi. . . This is a disaster and I am surprised there has been no class action law suits. . . I have spent time and money, replaced tires to prove the point, and after almost 6 years am ready to give up. . . Something so simple and stupid cannot be fixed or removed. . Nissan dealers blame it on pot holes, corrosion, or bad manufactured tires. American roads are filled with these perils and the system designed by Nissan is a failure because it cannot stand up. . . I own 9 other vehicles made after 2007 and not of the others have had any problems like this. .
