The airbag light is flashing intermittent not registering passengers. The fuel gage keeps going up and down unaware of fuel level. The tire pressure sensor is on and tires have correct psi. Vehicle can be in start still or driving.
The low on air tire light is on all the time. I turn on the vehicle and the low air tire light flashes. After driving for awhile, the light goes solid. I was told by my tire installers that it wasn't the tire sensors that were bad, it was the main controller that is bad.
The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Xterra. The contact stated that the air pressure sensor warning lamp continuously illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times who diagnosed that the tire pressure valve stem was defective and needed to be replaced. The remedy failed to repair the problem. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 5,000 and the current mileage was 14,000.
