Two problems related to ignition have been reported for the 1997 Oldsmobile 88. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
At 27 mph vehicle stalls. Took vehicle to dealer 4 times, cannot remedy problem.
Spark plug wires burned out at the plug end, causing engine to misfire and buck. Delaer has replaced the ignition wires. However, the problem has reoccurred.
