Air coming into the intake manifold and my low trac light comes on every time I have to do a turnaround or back around in a slow position from a start posistion. So im not getting my gas mileages worth nor can I do a uturn in a fast acceleration. It will get slower thats dangerous if upcoming traffic starts to proceed making it liable for an accident. Im scared for my life. Im in California in los angeles.

The car will turn over but wont start. It's not getting spark. Ran it to test codes. Came back as tps. Changed it and it all won't start. Was told possibly a recall on the ignition.

It just started after the security got lock and had to be over drive. When you drive you can feel the car idle bad when you have to stop for a light or stop sign or if you have to stop to turn and you get below 1 mga turns off. Yesterday it did this and turn off and all it would do is just turns but doesn't start. In the middle of the road. It sounds to me like it's not get fuel or air where it needs to be. You can drive the speed limit and watch the mga, I think, 1,2,3, ildel down a little. Started end of sept or no troubler.

"takata recall" I was having trouble startting my car so I went to auto dealership and bought a key which cost $38. . It worked great for maybe a month. Then I took my car to car wash and turned the ignation switch off and got out of car. When I was ready to go, the car would not start. Had to hire a wreaker to haul it to the house. The car still won't start.

Key turning car on in ignition gets jammed and finally turns after several attempts but now car tries to turn over but won't start. Only have one key. Also turn signal switch works intermittently and I have to turn on hazards to get to operate . Center console door loose. Ignition key recall 14350, center console recall oov140000, exterior lighting recall 03043, hazard /turn signal recall ?.

These cars are nightmares. I replaced the intake manifold gasket (extremely common issue, well documented online), the oil pressure sensor broke off the engine and leaked all of oil out, replaced the thermostat, learned how to deal with a constantly defective security system (passlock defect causes a no start, extremely common and well documented online), and now the car will crank but not fire (also extremely common, but due to the nature of the problem, the online resources can only provide one of a hundred different places to start attempting to diagnose). A no start should not require a mechanic to throw a full battery of tests at the car. There is no way this car should have been legal to sell, it is a money pit and a hazard to anybody around them. Systems are constantly failing, the car allows water to reach the fuse panels and corrode them, creating the potential for an electrical fire or failure of crucial driving/safety systems. The car has trouble starting if the ambient temperature is at or above 80 degrees. And I have experienced all of this in roughly a years time since I bought the car with relatively low mileage (~70k).

The contact owns a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. The contact stated that fuel fumes emitted into the vehicle whenever the heater was activated. The car initially would not start, googled help left in start position for 10 minutes then started. While driving the car shut off mid traffic, thought it was stolen. Taken to gm dealership put in new passcode key, told it was ok. Left dealership car cut off, taken back, said it was fuel injectors, has all of then changed. Attempt to start car and it won't start. Turning the key to the start position and leaving it on for 10 mins. Apparently this allows the computer to reset. Also you can be driving the car and all of a sudden it shuts down total. This is a extreme dangerous and can get some one seriously hurt or killer. We have had the vehicle fixed but it still continues and we can not afford another expense. Vehicles should be recalled.

I attempted to start my 2002 Oldsmobile Alero and it won't start. It was as if the fuel was shut-off. I had to have my car towed home. I noticed the security light was flashing. I checked on-line and people suggested, turning the key to the start position and leaving for 10 minutes, apparently this allows the computer to reset. (or you can disconnect the battery and reconnect it, this will also reset the computer. ) there is a problem with the passlock system. It's a huge problem for many people. Gm does not acknowledge this problem and is unwilling to correct the defect. This defect should be recalled.

I was driving down the road when the security light came on and stayed on. About one minute later, the car died while I was driving approx. 50 mph. Thank goodness there was no traffic and I was able to pull over off the road. The car did start back up this time. The passlock system has engaged before and we have followed the suggestions we found online and gotten it to start back up. . . I just don't think I should have to follow some sort of ritual to get my car to start; not to mention, the safety issue of having a car die in while going down the road at 50 mph.

Secuirty light on 1999 Oldsmobile Alero comes on and car will not start for over 10 mins. This causes me to fuel my car with the car engine running because I do not want to take the chance of it not starting. The fuel pressure regulator failed. This is a safety device that could have caused a fire. I reported the defective part to my dealer but they would not fix it at no cost because the car was over warranty by 2,000 miles. The dealer suggested to contact gm cares hotline. Gm did not care they would not authorize to repair my car at no cost. I have purchased and installed the defective safety device,.

Purchased car in 2002. Car would not start in Nov of 2004 spent 343. 44 on ignition cylinder lock at barr's electrical. Car did same thing in sept of 2012, spent 248. 04 again at barr's electric on another ignition cylinder lock. Have complete repair statement and receipt if needed upon request. Still have car. But do not drive due to other issues not sure about.

When going up a hill gas gauge goes to empty, and light down near consumer's feet illuminates. Cause is unknown. Please provide any further information.

Twice I have had get my rotors resurfaced or replaced, my gas gauge everytime I fill up it bounces up and down and the clear coat on the hood of the vehicle is coming off. This vehicle needs to have a recall on the brake system due to a lot of people that I have talked with and many on the internet complaining about having to replace there rotors or get them resurfaced way before the manufactured time limit. I bought my car with 29, 000 miles on it and have had to resurface or replace the rotors twice. Is this normal???.
