Brake Foundation Components Problems of Oldsmobile Cutlass

Four times since buying vehicle had brakes and brake rotors replaced. Brake pedal felt soft, and the pedal went all the way down to the floor. Dealership was aware of problem.

Brakes were starting to grab, more pressure had to be applied to stop. Vehicle was taken to dealer several times. Dealer would have to round them off because of faulty material.

Whenever applying the brakes, the steering wheel and brake pedal vibrate, the dealer has replaced the rotors and front brake linings, machined the rotors and the problem still exists, consumer states that the rotors are being replaced every four or five months.

Tremendous amount of brake problems, which began in June of 1998, since that time and up to the present the problems still exist, the brakes continue to make noise, repairs include rear drum replacement(6/9/98), right front hub replacement(8/4/98), front pads & rotors resurfaced(3/12/99), left front rotor replacement(6/11/99), right front caliper and flex hose replacement(7/6/99),left rotor resurfaced (7/12/99) ,calipers and rotors changed(8/23/99)front rotors resurfaced(1/18/00), brake system experincing excessive wear and noise.

While braking brake pedal "freezes," causing extended stopping which may result in a crash. Please provide further information.
