Two problems related to air bag have been reported for the 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My vehicle was bumped from behind by a vehicle making a sudden lane change while traveling 70mph. Although there was no actual impact it was enough to cause the car to slide left and scrape the left rear bumper along a concrete barrier causing minimal damage to my vehicle. During my emergency breaking and the rapid deceleration to maintain control of the vehicle the front airbags deployed forcing my hands off the wheel and obstructing my view causing the car to go out of control. As a result of the inflation of the airbags the car sustained major damage.
Consumer states vehicle was stolen and by going by the police report vehicle was traveling 45-50 mph in result of a vehicle crash. Please provide further information. Ph.
