Defogger Heater Problems of Oldsmobile Intrigue

The headlights flickered while driving at night. This problems caused the cruise control to deactivate by itself while engaged, and turned off the air conditioner or the heater when operating. Vehicle had been to the dealer on four separate occasions. The dealer replaced several parts, and problem recurred.

Car exterior and interior lights will dim and then brighten while driving at night. Seems to act up more in colder tempertures but is still acting up in warmer weather. Fan speed for air & heater will flucuate. They have replaced the altenator but it didn't correct the problem. Also having probelms when starting up the car. Acts like it is "missing" but no engine check light came on. Dealership tried running a fuel injector fluid through it but hasn't corrected the problem.

Windows fog easily resulting in lack of visibility; little side window airflow, although front windshield gets a lot; even with 1 adult in car, often all side windows fog; rear side windows are worst; tried all hvac modes to no avail.

Due to the location of the water hose, the hose is too close to the engine block, causing the hose to melt. Consumer has contacted goodyear, goodyear has replaced the water hose.
