Tire Tread/belt Problems of Oldsmobile Intrigue

Third instance of tire failure in past year. Tread comes completely off during interstate highway travel. Fortunately the tires did not lose air and I was able to come to a safe stop.

1. Rack & pinion failure, 2. Serpentine belt tensioner failure (@approx 45000 mi) 3. L rr seatbelt installed twisted at factory- shoulder strap wouldn't lock for child safetyseat, dealer fixed. 4. Warped front rotors, 5. I have experienced the dash going haywire or completely out accompanied by the sensation of a slipping trans and sluggish/clunking steering (twice, once about 8 months ago and about a week before the r&p failure) 6. Two tires have had belt separation.

While driving the tread separated on the left front tire, causing vehicle to vibrate, only the sidewall of the tire remained, the consumer had to pay a pro rated price for a new tire and feels he should not have been charged for the tire since it failed, the consumer is requesting a full refund, goodyear eagle rsa, p225/60r16. Consumer has goodyear, eagle, p225/60r/16, replacement tires, 31000 miles. There was tread separation on front two tires.

3 of the four tires, both front and one rear, have bubbling on inside edge with tread seperation. It sounds simular to the firestone problems. I find it perplexing that these tires lasted less then 37000 miles before they had tread seperation. As soon as I noticed, I replaced all the tires with another brand because I did not want to risk a blowout. It is difficult to notice this particular seperation because it occured on the inside edge of the rear tires. I noticed it only because something did not sound right and I located the faulty areas by feel. I am concerned that if this is a wide spread problem, some might not notice before the seperation becomes worse and/or a blow out occurs. ( dot number: m6xobmwr24 tire size: p22560r16 ).

While driving 45 mph an unusual noise occurred. After inspection of vehicle it was determined that tie rod broke and caused tread to separate on right front tire. Please give any further details.
