Front Air Bag problems of the 1998 Plymouth Breeze

Three problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1998 Plymouth Breeze. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 01/16/2003

Front collision at 35-40 mph, neither air bag deployed. Driver hit her head on the dash, passenger injured as well. Vehicle is totaled. Ph.

2 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 06/06/2002

While driving 55 mph consumer lost control of vehicle, went off the road, and hit trees. Neither airbag deployed, consumer suffered minor injuries, damage to vehicle was unknown.

3 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 08/27/2001

Air bags deployed because of an accident, causing injuries to consumer. Due to air bag deployment, consumer fractured left wrist, and sustained burns on right hand. Manufacturer showed no concern, and referred consumer to NHTSA.
